Kawasaki Ki-60.02 (川崎 キ60)
The Kawasaki Ki-60.02 is the second prototype of the Ki-60, which has a larger wing area and reduced weight.
History
When in May 1941 the Ki-60.01 was tested, it quickly turned out that the plane was too heavy, which caused a lot of problems. Kawasaki’s designers decided to introduce modifications in the second and third prototypes to fix the problems of the first prototype. In the second prototype, designated Ki-60.02, the wing area was increased, the oil and water cooler covers were changed, and unnecessary elements were removed from the structure, which reduced the weight by 140 kg and the load on the wings by 7%. This aircraft was ready for testing, probably in the summer of 1941, during which it reached a speed of 560 km/h, which was still not satisfactory, so in the next prototype (Ki-60.03) it was decided to reduce the weight of the aircraft even more. At the end of 1941, the Ki-60 project was abandoned and all three Ki-60 prototypes went to the Independent Squadron of 47 Squadron, where two of them crashed, and one survived until the end of the war, but it is not known which prototype it was.

Construction description
The Kawasaki Ki-60.02 is very similar to the Ki-60.01, but there are a few differences between them, which I will describe here.

  1. Each wing has been extended by 36 centimeters, which increased the wing area from 15.9 m2 to 16.2 m2
  2. Take-off weight has been reduced by 140kg
  3. Changed the oil and water cooler cover.

Summary
The Kawasaki Ki-60.02 is an interesting aircraft for Japan in War Thunder. Although this aircraft did not meet the requirements of the Japanese army, in War Thunder it would be a great fighter that would be deadly from the front for enemy aircraft. The Ki-60.02, along with the other Ki-60s, are suitable for the Tech Tree, as a Premium, and maybe as an event. .I encourage you to discuss in the comments and to share your own knowledge on this subject.
Finally, I apologize for the linguistic and logical errors because unfortunately English is not my main language and I had to use google translator.

An absolute +1 from me! Also, I recognize that box art; I have the same kit in my big pile of kits to build. On first inspection it’s workable but definitely not the best
