Kawanishi N1K1-Jb (紫電一一乙型)
The Kawanishi N1K1-Jb is a Japanese fighter aircraft built in September 1944. This aircraft was supposed to be more aerodynamic than its predecessor. About 200 N1K1-Jb aircraft were built and served until the end of the war.
History
Engineers from the Kawanishi plant noticed that the N1K1-Ja aircraft caused a decrease in aerodynamic capabilities by mounting Type 99 cannons under the wings. Therefore, in addition to starting work on its successor (N1K2-J), it was decided to develop an improved N1K1-J aircraft. It was decided to move the Type 99 cannons to the wings. In addition, it was decided to add 250 kg bomb mounts on the wings. The prototype was ready in the second quarter of 1944, and production began around September 1944. By the end of the war, about 200 N1K1-Jb aircraft were built, which were used to defend the Japanese islands.
Art about Kawanishi N1K1-Jb

- For mounting under wings for 250kg bombs
- A pair of external Type 99 cannons received an increased number of shells from 100 to 200 shells per gun
- The cannons are angled 3 degrees upwards

Summary
The Kawanishi N1K1-Jb is an interesting aircraft for Japan in War Thunder. Thanks to the change in the armament setting, the aircraft is more aerodynamic, which improves its flight capabilities, and a larger number of shells will allow it to destroy more enemy aircraft. In addition, two 250 kg bombs will allow this aircraft to be used in ground battles. The Kawanishi N1K1-Jb would be ideal for grouping up with the N1K1-Ja and separating them from the upgraded N1K2-J aircraft, or adding this aircraft as a premium aircraft.I encourage you to discuss in the comments and to share your own knowledge on this subject.
Finally, I apologize for the linguistic and logical errors because unfortunately English is not my main language and I had to use google translator.
