considering that about half of war thunder nations are or are going to enjoy the Leo 2 in their lineups K2 might be something unique that could be added to the German tree. it’s not needed for effectiveness but for uniqueness might actually be useful

kinda funny how a lot of other coutry mains wants leopard 2’s but the moment a german main asks for a polish K2 it becomes absolute chaos, i dont mind if other TT’s get a leopard as long as germany dosent get their unique leopards removed from their own TT like the KF41 situation

Yeah but if Poland is added as it’s own TT, doubt Germany is going to get access and there’s always a chance a Korean TT would get the trialed version from Norway as a premium or event as it was modified from what i remember
If either TTs are added, doubt we’d get it as a premium for germany and sweden

i dont mind, but its only if it gets added as its own TT def something i would go grind, but at the moment it could go as an event vehicle or as another squadron vehicle, most likely an event vehicle since it would definitively be a top tier

a polish K2 PL fits well as an event vehicle for germany since rn poland dosent have any sitting place and it has pretty good military relations with germany, sounds good until poland gets a tech tree

This better suits another tree, that tree being a United Korean tree. A K2 wouldn’t fill any gap in Germany so its not really needed.
Do you really want this more than a 2A6M/E/EX, KF-51, 2 Revolution or many of the more German vehicles when there are domestic analogues that are actually tied to Germany.

Besides that the whole cansdian leo thing is cleared as well, uk can have the 2a4 and the 2a6m can.
The german playerbase is only intrested in the 2a4m can since its a unique modification.

I’ve never been engaged with the Canadian Tank argument. So I’m not taking it up here properly for either side, I’m just gonna suggest that a Canadian 2A6 would be the best tank in the British tree until Challenger 130.
Most people don’t know but i’m actually a German main after Britain killed me off when I was new to the game.
But as you said, the K2 is a great MBT but there is much more German stuff to add on the same level, there could be as many Leopard 2’s as there are T-Series tanks in-game for Russia.
The ground tree could do with a fix for the current protection values compared to the 122’s. Overall I actually think the ground tree is quite well off. I’d like a full DDR line with the T-55AM included as well as others as that is kinda Germany’s ‘sub-tree’ situation like China has Taiwan. Additionally a top tier IFV.
Air I am still in favour of the Swiss F-18 being a filler to make the placement of the Swiss Hunter actually mean something rather than being plain stupid as it is now.
The only logical place for K2 is a polish K2 tank in german tree.
friendly reminder that more polish vehicles are in the UK tree if i am right. Thats why polish decal events require one to play UK as well

Instead of German Tech tree, K2 should be placed in Sweden tech tree as a vehicle that Norway has tested in reality.
