Twin 35 mm Self-Propelled Gun Type 87 can have a maximum of 40 DM23 rounds per two barrels (!) at 550 rounds per minute. This is too little when confronting ground vehicles. Other ammunition can be in the amount of 640 pieces.
If this is done for balance, then why not just remove this ammo? It’s confusing.
I think it’s the same with the Gerard too. I don’t think it’s done for balancing either. I think I saw somewhere that the APDS shell has different dimensions and weight so that’s why it can’t carry as many. Because they don’t fit in the magazines.

It has a secondary feed dedicated to anti tank munition. Which on SPAA vehicles mean it will be limited to the ammo amount in that secondary feed
I mean if I want to go into battle only with DM23, then I will still only get 40 pieces. I also tried to put it in the first and second slots but the result is the same
Yes thats what i said. You dont get the anti-tank munition in the main feed.
