In history, JH7A had PL8B with IRCCM missiles as weapons, but gaijin refused to issue them in the game on the grounds of balance. But the difference between PL8B and PL8 and The difference between AIM9LI and AIM9L is the same.The only difference is whether the guidance head has IRCCM.So why can’t JH7A have IRCCM missiles?

They most likely want to keep it around the br that it is currently at.
Its the only 12.3 jet for China.

The JH7A is better at 12.3 than 13.0 with IRCCM missiles.
The JH7A is the perfect example of what a 12.3 should be.
JH7A will be defeated by IRCCM missiles and FOX3 on 12.3, and will not have the ability to retaliate

Looking at only “does it have the same missile as the others” is bad balance. unless the harrier should be 14.0 because “its has aim120b”

That is an issue with 13.0 - 14.0 being compressed, not 12.3 itself.
Because this would still force to change the BR, which would result in the JH-7A having an BR with the IRCCM missiles were it would be just Missile food

12.7 is already a BR with IRCCM, let alone JH7A which is a second-generation body

Agree. Look at the 12.3 BR: Indian MiG-21 bison with R73s (and HMS, which makes R73s much more powerful), Hornets(self-explanatory), and even F-16A(better airframe, more IR MSLs).
From my point of view, gaijin generally overestimated the performance of IR missles without IRCCM.

They somehow think the missiles with green icons are wonder weapons ex: python 3 on the kurnass 2000(12.3) and the missile on the Brazil amx(11.0)

I agree. I would add that at 12.3 most planes have either usable SARH missiles or IRCCM. Like Mirage F1C or the F4S, both are better planes in ARB than the JH7 despite being lower br. Another better comparison would be the Mirage 2000D R1, which sits at the same br but has IRCCM Magic 2 missiles, and it’s actually pretty fun although with a low missile count. JH7 just isn’t competitive at 12.3 without at least some better missiles, or at least lower its br to 11.7.
BTW, I think Netz should also be lowered in br (or get better missiles) and for the same reason.
EDIT: not to mention the Mirage 2000D R1 gets MAWs, which makes it fairly hard to kill at that br with regular IR missiles.
EDIT 2: it doesn’t even get EEGS like the Mirage 2000D R1, or really anything! Not even a HMD or something similarly helpful. Shit the more I think about this harder it becomes to justify its br.

Maybe it could be lowered to 12.0(ARB) ,for that 12.3 is too high for jh7. i would never play jh7 in ARB since it’s 12.3, fighting much fox1 even fox3, and planes with more than 4 IRMs.
