Turret composite armor, mantlet, hull composite armor, and additional armor for the lower hull all have the same protection

No, it’s not. It’s a “transport” weight, not actually removing the composite armor. Examples include the basket at the rear of the turret and the boxes on the sides. In reality, the weights in this table are everything.

As you can see from the Type 10 on a Type 73 trailer (40 ton weight limit), there is no change in appearance. I believe this indicates that the turret/hull composite armor has been removed.

ok. Then, let’s think about your many claims. The “transportation” weight tells us very little. We don’t know the actual breakdown of “armor”, “ammunition”, etc. listed there. Actually, you provide no basis for Type 10’s armor weight to be 3200kg.
44 tons is a combat weight.
3 souls, ~220kg.
35 rounds ~700kg.
So that’s about a ton there.
Fuel, rubber pads, machine guns & ammo, etc IDK the exact mass for.

With all these new MBTs being announced, can we maybe expect the Type 10 48t full armor package model?
I hope Japan is kept in the top tier meta loop, considering that their air is not going to see anything substantial for a major patch or two…
As cool it would be to get the 48T Type 10 i doubt it that we will be getting it.
I would imagine TKX and Type 10 would be getting some form of a buff and maybe they add Type 10 with APS as it would just be C&P with APS added on it.
Honestly, huge doubt. The only hope, is that new tanks wont bring new rounds, cause JP basically stuck with Type 10 round for eternity now

At least i have a small hope for mobility buff. i do doubt we will see a new tank for japan but IF anything i would guess it would be a Type 10 with APS.

That would be sweet and wish the Type 90 would get its optics fixed too but that will never happen.

I think if they just fix the mobility and maybe decrease the reload it will still be viable, but i dont think that the T90M or sepv2 will have that big of an impact tbh. Of course they could also actually add the armour its currently lacking, but i doubt that will happen.

Many tanks are acknowledged in warthunder issues for the lack of spall liners. Does the type 10 or type 90 have them?
