Those vehicles had 66mm grenades, but the actual caliber is 76mm.

The transmission is supposed to be placed in front of the engine, so that model seems to be the reverse of the front and rear.

maybe type 10 could be upgraded to type 10 improved now with armor as good as the M1A2 SEPV2 or Leopard 2A7 and a new aps, all of this was already said by japan that they plan on constantly improving the type 10

Yes not only is armor upgrades part of the research but seems like there is also priority on top attack missile defense and drone defense according to the articles, mainly due to the effects of those weapons in the Ukraine war. So it’s interesting to see what they will do.
Whats more interesting is that it might not just be the Type 10 but also other vehicles. We’ll probably see more information in the coming month/years.

that is been known some years ago but it was brought up again by the minstry of the self defense forces of japan due to how the ukraine war its developing making them reiterate on the fact that they need a way of defending agaist drones and missiles and that is why the new APS system project has been accelerated by japan in order to equip their tanks with a domestic APS to fight off this new threats, we know for a fact that the type 10 has a 48 ton configuration wich its able to use composite on the side and on the roof to protect agaist 30mm autocannon fire and top attack missiles or drones we just dont know their exact armor value

The engine was facing the opposite direction, which has been fixed.

Because Japan at this point still lacking of premium medium tank at rank 4, i think ST-A 4 is perfect for it. And i think it is easy to make by using the same model as ST-A 3 but remodel the commander’s cupolar.
It is basically worse than ST-A 3 and Type 61 which is good because it should not be a P2W tank, but at least it will make more credit and RP than the other two, opinions ?

IMHO the idea is conceptually not bad, but problems will arise.
Failure to comply with the P2W concept is, on the contrary, bad, because it means not so many sales, which means a reduced chance of being introduced into the game. Gaijin agrees to introduce a non-P2W premium for Japan unless it is a complete copy-paste of an existing model with near-zero costs.
In addition, there is a problem with the fact that STA-4 may not be entirely comfortable for beginners who have just come to the game. However, they should prepare in advance for what awaits them in the tree.
Perhaps if it is set to 6.3 this will eliminate some of the problems mentioned above. Subsequently, when the life cycle of the prem-vehicle will be completed, it may well be sent to 6.7.
6.3 could work but not if the ST-A 1 and 2 stay at the same BR since they have worse mobility and gun. Those two tanks should go down to 6.0 first.
The only things the ST-A 4 is worse than the other med tanks at 6.7 is lacking of auto-loader which the ST-A 3 has, lacking of smoke dischargers and NVD which the Type 61 has, it is still not worse by much, you still get the same gun, same mobility, good gun sight, a optical range finder and everything else etc.
Btw since it should have HEAT-FS which can lolpen any heavy tank it might face, i think that could be consider a noob friendly vehicle.
But then again, the Type 75 MLRS is pretty much a worse vehicle to any tech tree counterpart and i don’t think many bought it aswell and definitely not something you want to be stuck with if you just started the game.
It is just there for those that want a vehicle to grind the tree faster which Japan is currently lacking especially the Ho-Ri proto. is removed from store.
The only reason i don’t think it should be in the tech tree is because why would anyone pick this over the already existing medium tanks ? If it is added as a premium, there is a reason to play it.
Additionally, i rather have the Type 61 B added as another 6.7 tank so having all of them in the TT might be too much since they are similar.

God i hate the Type 89s missile dip they are useless. actually the Type 89 itself just feels bad now in my opinion.
