Most important factor is vehicle should be capable of carrying munitions, if vehicle fulfills this check then it’s up to Gaijin to add it.
In this case munitions such as Aim-120C5-8 are totally fine for Swedish Gripen as it carries in real life, and let’s not forget it will eventually receive Meteors with IRIS-T as well.

I still place top 1 or 2 regularly in the Gripen. new missiles would just help give them more energy farther out giving you more posibilities. even though the FM is nerfed and AoA and everything is lower than real life it is still very much competetive at 14.0 right now since that is basically all you meet.
Let me rephrase that, i have no interest in playing the Gripen because i dont care for it because i have no interest in playing a fake jet that never existed in its current state

Think I’ll put my two cents with the upcoming Gripen D
I find it a little weird it’s a squadron vehicle. Although not my favorite variants of the Gripen, was hoping that it would go after the SAAB-105 line and hopefully finishing it off as the Twin seater Gripens are trainers after all.
Also pretty DoA. Obviously the internal gun being removed is going to suck. Very limited missiles for 13.7 and on a heavier platform. Feel like the Gripen NG demonstrator would’ve been a better pick.
Unfortunately I can’t find much about the Gripen having a gunpod. IIRC Sweden has the Sk60/SAAB 105 30mm gunpods in reserve but unknown if it’s a compatible fit for it.
