So i was looking at the japanese jets and all the liveries available and i was wondering why the japanese premium phantom has an aussie camo option, i couldnt rlly find any sources on google
Random, same reason german Leo 1A1 has aussie camo. They added bunch of aussie camos together with the kangaroo pfp year or so ago and for whatever reason spread them around several TTs.

It’s the only premium E variant so it was put on sale for Australia day, as Australia leased F-4Es for I think 3 years to fill the gap between retiring the Canberra bombers and receiving the F-111 that got delayed.

That didnt stop them in adding aussie camo to TT Leo1. Ergo they could theoretically put it to TT F-4E.

Yeah, but I think they just wanted an excuse to sell more F-4EJ ADWTs. The TT one would have made more sense as they where actual USAF F-4Es with their full USA capabilities (and where returned to the USA once the F-111s began arriving), not the simplified and stripped down ones Japan got.
It was for this moment of valour video the devs did last year.
IIRC the F-4EJ was the closest to our RAAF F-4’s in game.
