Japan tech tree should get NATO country equipment only from ASIA Pacific country

You are right, I should start to start a new topic for seperation of NATO and WTO weapons. But I got work to do now, maybe you can help now or I may pick a time for this few days later?

For line up issue(many country will face line up issue if some vehicles/planes stuff get deleted) We can just have two complete identical vehicle but different painting.

Or each game we can have 3 vehicle total+1 plane included+1 anti air below or equivalent to that vehicles’ br , and we can have duplicate vehicle for combat(Just like M51 in Israel, how many life for a vehicle to respawn depend on how much to have exactly 3 vehicle line up totally(every nation should have exactly of 3 vehicles minimum to go to battle in total)

For instance, for 6.7 lineup, assume Nation X only have 1 6.7 br vehicle in tech tree, he can respawn in battle with that 6.7 vehicle 3 times + 1 plane+ 1 anti air , but if that nation X have two 6.7 vehicle, each vehicle can respwan twice(and player can choose which vehicle to respawn for third round of respawn

For premium vehicles, they still could only respawn twice if have backups token.

Segregation isn’t the answer.

We just can try to find the best answer, but anyway I think most of player agreed that it is disgusting to have enemy or friend options in sim.

Then that’s a sim lineup issue and not one of country’s vehicles.
Identify friend and foe exists for all tanks in sim for example.

I think it will also help Historical battle and arcade battle, I’ve seen too many people complaining copy paste in this forum.
And historical battle is just a joke currently, however we can make it back to where it should be through segregation

Historical battles isn’t a thing currently.

I understand your point in having japan mainly getting nato tech because of the treaties signed at the end of WWII and would be fairly realistic for that to happen. This is not a 1 to 1 simulation of real world though otherwise this would be a dramatically different game. We dont know the long term plans that gaijin has in place for all the nations in the game. This is them trying to balance out nations ( to an extent ) so that the current nations have the flexibility to compete at every BR. The big 3 get a lot of attention and i believe they are trying to get the other nations up to speed.

I dont see this as them trying to insult chinese players with what nation gets what, but trying to make it so everyone has a good time playing. Lets at least give them the benefit of the doubt as they see their long term plans and can only give us so much information as things are constantly changing for future releases.

People just don’t want copy paste and saw enemy is driving their own vehicle in historical battles as far as I observed in this forum

Well, historical game mode does not exist.
And Thailand’s VT-4 would be inferior to the VT-4 China currently has in tech tree and not copy-paste.

But still that is not NATO gear, and will cause frustration in sim. So no vt-4 should go to Japan even Thai version have slight difference with current VT-4A1, but Leopard 2 from Singapore is ok to go to Japan I think. And T-84 and T90S and etc can go to China

I’m sure Gaijin don’t want and don’t dare and does not necessary to insult we Chinese player. But copy paste, and historical battle is not historic–not need to mention sim-- have become an issue and complained for long time already

This got very political for a bit there… But it also got pretty big so I’ll add my opinion (or just summarize because all of it was said already)

A nation should be able to get all of it’s vehicles. For example the Italian Shermans, despite being Axis vehicles represent Italian military.
The same thing goes for subtrees. For example Hungary still got Russian vehicles despite being in a “NATO” tech tree.
So on the question of a Thai VT-4, I’d say in a subtree it should be acceptable. Similarly Taiwanese M1A2T and F-16V were brought up, they should go to the tree Taiwan is currently represented in, China.

This way there is a simple ruleset that keeps a nations vehicles together for use in lineups through trees and subtrees, that is equal for all nations.

Only the sim issue remains, which considering sim already has a fixed selection of vehicles should be easy to fix by simply removing offending vehicles from sim lineups, as well as possibly creating new ones centered around subtree nations that otherwise wouldn’t be in sim.

But Gaijin just make selection from Asia Pacific Nation to complete Japan tech tree, I only want them to get NATO gear to Japan.

For Thai, they don’t even have enough vehicle to make a subtree, no need to mention it definitely can’t have everything as an independent sub tree.

For political part everyone here are gentle, but only one being rude, you know whom.

If you are Japanese, you can go to your museum and see the golden seal of the courtiers given by the Chinese Son of Heaven(自古以来~)

I assume that’s just a vague statement to not confirm or deny anything just yet. Most likely scenario I 'd say would still be Thailand without other nations.

It can actually. There is actually more than enough vehicles to get a dedicated line for aviation, ground, helicopters and naval. I highly recommend you look at the existing subtree suggestions, they are very interesting lines of vehicles and don’t even include any of the controvesial Chinese vehicles

I was mostly just joking with that part, seeing how bad the forum can get when politics get involved.

In fact, GAIJIN depends more on which country the vehicle belongs to

Also known as: Which country is operating the vehicle.
They don’t care who initially designed the vehicle.

Which is why there is no problem for any taiwanese vehicles in china and any thailand’s vehicles in japan tree

You’re referring to the German F.58?

But Gaijin just going to randomly pick and they also officially denied vt 4 will go to Japan, so that mean Thai will not come as a whole subtree, most likely just few of their gear will get picked
