I am seeing players using this jet to wreck everything from 6.3 to 7.7 BR ground battle. Nothing is fun getting lazered 3 times a game from 2 dudes rubbing one out to zunis. It needs to go up in BR for Ground RB

“Wreck” is a massive overstatement. Sure, fighting it from the ground sucks, however you can literally beat it in a dogfight in an Fw-190 or Su-9.
It’s only actually strong if the L-39’s team is winning. If they aren’t, and they don’t have air superiority, then they’re just free food for even the bottom class of A2A fighters.
Should still 100% be 8.0 or 8.3 but it’s not nearly as problematic as people say.

Guy, average Japan takes out the Ho-Ri, gets 1 to 2 kills, then jumps in the L-39 and proceeds to clean up the map. Before anybody can get into fighters. Doesn’t sounds like you playplay a lot of 6.3 to 7.7 because you would be right here with me about it.
You are right it needs to go to at least 8.0 in ground rb so it has to deal with radar spaa

On the contrary, I’ve been playing a lot of 7.3 USSR recently. I agree that the L-39 should be raised, however it’s not game breaking. People are just overreacting cause it’s new and it’s mostly played by higher skill players.
Again, I agree it should be atleast 8.0 or 8.3, but they’re little more than fighter food if they’re not on the winning team.
