I think ive changed my opinion on this
AH-1Z should get DAIRCM, JAGM-MR (including the IR version), AIM-9X, and its RWR fixed and go to 13.0 so US toptier has something unique and can be argued as at least a side grade to the US stuff in other techtrees (rn the datamined chinese 64e is technically better than the US one)

I actually think that china should not be getting a Guardian unless Japan gets a VT-4 and any other chinese vehicles that its subtrees may have.
Kinda annoyed at how the chinese chimp out over an export tank going to a Thai subtree but everyone else gets to have their vehicles ctrl+c ctrl+v’d into china, but thats a completely different discussion.

Although this topic doesn’t belong in this thread, I still want to mention it: Most rational Chinese players believe the VT4 simply shouldn’t have been implemented for the Japanese tech tree in September (during China’s Victory Day period, as we dislike that kind of dark humor), not that it should never be implemented at all. However, we also can’t stop others from advocating that “the VT4 must never be given to Japan.”

I have no problem gaijin add AGM-179A & AGM-179 MR on AH-1Z and increase maximum Battle Rating (Ground Realistic Battle) to 13.0
But AGM-114K Hellfire II replace with AGM-114R (“Romeo”) and AGM-114L Hellfire Longbow
You know that is indeed perfectly rational given historical context, but unfortunately a very vocal part of the chinese playerbase seemed to specifically have a problem with the concept, not the timing.
I’d honestly not mind the AH-64E or even the M1A2T going to China as long as Japan gets the VT-4 as well.

Its all about timing. About the M1A2T, my opinion is that it could be added only after the american’s get something like the SEPV3 because if Taiwan was to receive the M1A2T before, it would have the most modern Abrams model in the game.

When 12.0 was the top lineup, sure Vikhrs and AGM-114s weren’t notable, but it isn’t anymore.

Yes, which is why I only spawn on advantageous maps in my Ka-52, Z-19, and AH-1Z.
Hellfire platforms hardly work at any map because of spaa. Vikhrs platform work on the majority of maps because of versatile the missile is.
Again, the people who play them in GRB can tell you the same thing I’m saying

I would argue for balance reasons, the AH-1z (and possibly the 64D) should get the SAL version of the JAGM-MR as it’ll actually deserve the BR of 12.0.
12.0 hellfire platforms are over Brd considering the spaa it’ll be facing. Giving it the JAGMs will give them a fighting chance
I completely disagree.
SAL JAGMs are actual doo doo garbage, you get twice the range which is cool and good but they are 100 m/s slower than the already painfully slow slowfires.
It would just lead to playing the same cat and mouse game with SPAA (peek over cover, fire a few, duck down, let inertial guidance take em 90% of the way there, hope they dont get shot down, peek back out and guide em in for the final approach) but ten times slower.
This would do nothing for the heli, if anything having your missiles shot down, being unable to peek back out in time or having your target explode before they arrive after 50 seconds of waiting instead of 10 would make it feel infinitely worse.
It would just feel like the L-UTMAS on the Turkey mangusta.
