If you get shot at say at 100m and dive perfectly to 20m. Most missiles cant follow the dive. R24 and some others like paywalled Ps dont care amd hit anyway.
Sparrows outside of P are garbage. Just accept
R24 does not do this. Neither does 7P. Both are capable of being multipathed

Yeah, its got 2 good SARH missiles, and a good radar. a 2kd should be about expected.
I mean its a worse MLA/D so of course its a lower BR. Give it all aspects and it would go up but that already exists and is 12.0 (also has BOL)

Starting from Rank V the only plane that reached the 2.0+ K/D in December was the Bi with 2.95.
Rank VI is Ariete with 1.85 K/D.
Rank VII is Mirage IIIC with Magic 1’s at 10.0 shooting at 9.3-9.7 premiums. (I guess I found a new topic for whining :p)
Rank VIII is Rafale with 1.75 K/D.
The only plane to reach your “expected” K/D is the most broken plane in the game trading for $300.

We are talking average per month here, not your own expected K/D which you have exceeded by far.
1.65 average K/D is way out of line - it’s clearly overperforming.

Also would it be wrong to assume the matchmaker is a big factor in both aircraft? Theres a lot of 12.7 players using the 12.7 prems so i wouldn’t be suprised if the Migs were getting into prem spam games sorta like the 10.3 bracket for the Viggen.
Eh, hard to say id need to hop in both vehicles and measure the average BR of the match i get with both.
I think the Mig has a worse Matchmaker compared to the Viggen. Ill probably test this later or so but imo i feel thats a big part of vehicles and their performance.

Not entirely BR’s are dependent on a few factor equipment, performance, and general snail logic.
Equipment wise the Viggen is simply a worse Mig. Worse IR missiles, worse radar missiles and equally bad RWR.
Makes sense that it stayed at 11.0 for so long then went to 11.3 when the Migs went to 11.7 the Mig simply were a touch above the Viggens. Though given new vehicles have been added id assume the Viggen would probably sit lower KD wise than the Mig at 11.7 as it lacks the equipment of its contemporaries.
Imo the Viggen and the F4E are equals, more than enough noobs fly high and have no idea how to dodge radar missiles so the F4E can utilize its older radar and copius missiles to maintain high alt.
Viggen not so much less CM and missiles make it a better low alt hunter given its only got 2 radar missiles that are equivalent to whats on the F4E.
Don’t forget the lower amount of countermeasures compared to the MiG, it isn’t by much but can make a difference at times.

The MiG-23 can carry 72 countermeasures, the minimum is 60 countermeasures

Honestly i recently decided to play the F4E with a friend and my KD was terrible back in 2019 with the F4E but ive done a lot since i first reached jets and Honestly i love the phantom. I run 2 gunpods 4x 9J and 4x 7E-2 and its a slow monster but once you get to speed its great its definitely got a playstyle that you need to play into but i love coming from below on unsuspecting players and grabbing them with my 7E-2
