J7W1, Still good?

how is 2.0 K/D in a plane “not good”?
i can show u my 4.0 K/D in the A21A-3 if u need “good” K/D or smth.

any plane with a +1.0-1.5 K/D is good (with any plane with good K/D i mean in general stats/average stats for any player who plays that plane, global stats basically).

First - you have a 2:1 K/D ratio in the J7W1 - not 2:0, basic math😉
Second - that means just that for every 2 noobs u find u lose a plane.

Comparisons with global stats make zero sense as you play a game flooded with kids and tankers, they lack either experience or passion for Air RB.

K/D ratios in a shooter game are important for some people but they say nothing about quality as most top players fly either squadded or prefer simply op (under BRd) aircraft. K/Ds of the top players are often way higher than 25:1, therefore your subjective assessment regarding the J7W1 is nice to read, but it holds objectively seen no water.

A plane is then objectively “good” if an experienced player is able to fly it solo with a WR >70% and is able to play and win 1 vs 3-5. And for that you need at least one significant advantage (climb, speed or turn) and the J7W1 is mediocre in all of these categories.

That was the reason why i wrote:

I sit on 1776:70 kills (no head-ons, just BnZ or turnfight) in the C-3604 - based on your logic the plane is a killer. It is not, you turn better than most of your enemies but you are actually slower and have a worse climb than the majority and you have to invest a hell of time in identifying the most dangerous opponents and to get at least a good position - otherwise you are doomed - a JP Bf 109 E-7 or MB 157 has actually a better turnrate and is way faster, so you need brainpower to survive in oder to make a difference.

I used the C-3604 to max out my German crew slot but i am just at 72% WR simply because German teams tend to die like flies and I play every second match as last player in my team vs the omnipresent Yak-1B and MB 157 spam. The rather high WR is just the result of several hundred 6-8 vs 6-8 matches which reduces stiff opposition and allows you to play out your experience advantage.

In total opposition to my A7M2 - my teams were way too strong (=80% WR) and i had serious issues to get kills (35:2) simply because they tend to stomp enemy teams extremely fast. So i stopped playing it.

First, aphe does not fuse 90% of the time. It only does it you already struck a vital area, tail, elevators, rudders and wings tend to survive at least 1 aphe round.
Second, the problem with these cannons is poor firerate, barely 500rpm.
Third, worst spread of said cannons, even with the “New 30mm cannons” modification unlocked.
Fourth and most important, firepower does not mean anything if you practically depend on your enemy not focusing on you for being an easy kill.

Will the J7W1 find sucess? Of course!, It is rewardin as hell with such a low repair cost.
Can the J7W1 find sucess somewhat reliably? Not so, It really depends if the battle is in has some rare conditions on it.

So you should be proud of that, or what? I don’t get your point. Everyone could be lucky enough, I can even use some of the jets that got 10 kills

KD 2 basically, you played with Brains, not just simply head-on, and then exchanged. I don’t even know if you have farmed bots, but that’s off topic.

If you want, I can even show you what the really good planes are, which have over 30K/D and over 80% winrate. If you know how statistics work, you should know that it is not reliable, especially when you really want to comapre a vehicle is good or bad. The fewer people playing, the better the statistics tend to be, and the general stats will include all kinds of vehicle stats(bombers, strikers, premiums).

That’s why I prefer to look at the statistics of players with similar skill levels—for example, by analyzing all the vehicles they’ve played—rather than simply including everyone’s performance with the same vehicle in the statistics.
