A 11.3 plane only which 2 aim-9j with a autocannon that didn’t have tracer is already the worst stock loadout at the BR, and the aim-9b as tier 1 is just making whole process more difficult
ya the ja37c is one of the worst stock grinds in the game, and i should be stated, theyre basic aim9ps, which are incorrect because it should be aim9p3’s which is still incorrect because none of the ja37s were fitted with rb24js instead only had rb71s and 74s, aka the 37d
also dont forget, you got a 10.3 airframe, because gaijin hates swedish air.

F-4J was the worst for me. 2 aim-9Ds and an a 20mm at 12.0, absolute pain. We need stock chaff at the very least

Trying to find any photos of the JA37 with live missiles (regardless of type) is difficult.
However considering the JA37 entered service in 1980 and the RB74 entered service in 1986 it should be fairly trivial to conclude that the JA37 must have used RB24J operationally at some point, right? Or are you suggesting it had no IR missiles and simply flew around with a couple of RB71s for the first 6 years of its service?

best largely depends on your playstyle.
Viggen has better dogfight performance, speed, and has LD/SD, while something like the phantom has twice as many sparrows as you, nearly twice as many countermeasures, a better gun + more trigger time and a better RWR.
Viggen excels more at low altitude where the afterburning airliner engine brings you to wingrip speed without any issues, your PD radar provides flawless locks for your skyflashes, and your flight performance excels most at low altitude,
whereas the F-4E excels better at high altitude where it can shut down a 8km airspace infront of its nose with 4 AIM-7E-2s, retain more speed at higher altitudes, and snipe people from above with AIM-9Gs.
this doesn’t necessarily mean the viggen won’t dumpster you at high altitude, or the F-4E at low altitude. they’re menaces everywhere.

Yes they did. The rb24 and the rb24j were both used interchangeably on the JA37, AJ37 and AJS37.

I trust tracers more than EEGS, especially in the gun that only have this little amount of ammo

what are you even yapping about, only thing i can understand when someone say viggens are bad or impossible to grind is when someone is new to jets because of radar, rwr and what not, but this is just nonsense.
JA-37C is the 2nd or 1st best 11.3 jet in the game. We really be complaining about anything and everything out here
Congratulations, you just found the 1st and 2nd best jets, and you’re allowed to put them in any order you like. These are still the best jets at the BR.
icl the stock, as in 0 mods, grind is kinda bad much like many other planes but spaded this thing is easily the best 11.3 imo
The issue is without the mods you are facing delta which much greater thrust to weight than yourself and equal sustained, a lot of them have a higher instant turn too
the Mig 21Bis, which is one so many trees, will easily out do this in a dogfight for average players and the gun lacks the tracers for a player to learn for dogfighting
The radar may be good but what purpose does it serve without skyflashes in ARB besides the guns which isnt so useful half the time
