First off:
The J10C in game in comparison to its IRL counterpart is ridiculous, I know the PL15 might be coming but why does the current J10C not have its proper engine? Another thing I don’t understand is why the J10A gets 120 degree search but not the J10C? I’m really looking for a explanation more than a buff but why would you add the J10C and not the J10B which seems to more closes match what we have in game??

Preferably move rafales, su30sm2 and aesa typhoon to 14.7 at minimum and move gripen E to 14.3. The rest could remain at 14.3

there def needs to be some form of BR changes, 12.3 for me has been nothing but uptiers
12.3 rarely has full upteirs, but some partial uptiers to 13.0. Its an ok matchmaker.
12.7 sucks now, many partial uptiers and some full uptiers, downtiers are very rare.
13.0 same but a little better
13.3 is good most matches are either partial downtiers or partial uptiers.
13.7 is almost as good as 13.3, full uptiers are uncommon.
This was my recent experience
I would have agreed prior to the 2x Premium Su-30s. but I did a chunk of the AESA-Phoon grind in the Tornado GR4 and a LOT of the matches were 13.3, this was immediately after the major update dropped, so it might have shifted back, but I would still expect to see 12.3s getting full uptiers fairly consistantly these days with those under BRed premiums
Yesterday I played the GR7 a bunch of times and most matches were 12.0-13.0, I don’t recall a full uptier
Hmm… Either it was just a symptom of people playing the Su-30 more to grind out the SU-30SM2 / J-10C respectively and then swapping to 14.3 to play said grinded aircraft which created a vacuum pulling the remainder of the 13.3s back up again, or, you got lucky.
Either way, encountering either of those sucks in most 12.3s
The PL15 would be more broken than the F90, the dual trust means you can lob it at 50km+ right after the start of the match and it would still have a very fast post lock on closure rate. I dont think it should be added or any other ultra long range missile without extensive changes to air rb and addition of decoy countermesures (but i bet Gaijin will just shove it in anyway, i mean we have 100km range SAM in tank rb maps that are 2 by 2 km…)

Im not asking for the PL15 to be added, its just that the current flight model doesn’t match real stats in the slightest
Lowkey the J-10C looks like the J-10B AESA testbed, but with the belly missile pylon and the multi rack LS-6’s

Id disagree. Changes to airframe, probably yes, Though they are always lacking in fixes immediately after the decemeber update and tend to release the bulk of them latter half of the January but a decompression is possible with the next BR Change that could be within a few weeks. I reckon late January for the post, implemented early Feb
my understanding is that they’re on holiday roughly the first two weeks of January, and then come back and release fixes in the later half of January yes. But what could they do in that relatively short amount of time other than an engine upgrade which as you said would be an airframe change?
I do see BR changes coming soon but I don’t see how that is a change to the vehicle itself.
At the moment, at 14.3, it is facing off against aircraft a lot stronger than it and there is need for major buffs to maintain balance.
If those same aircraft were instead higher, say 15.0?, and the J-10C didnt move, then the need for those buffs would mitigated greatly.
But that would not align with the alleged promise of giving it changes to make it more competitive. If the other top tiers go up and the J-10C itself did not move, it still did not change as the BR remained the same.

Im not saying it shouldnt get buffs, but realistically what buffs would actually make a big enough difference?
Better engine? Sure, but what else? Is there enough options available, short of adding something like PL-15 in a vacuum that would actually close the gap at this time?
