Honestly got no idea, i’m new and still trying to learn… hence why i asked if the 中国飞机全书 could be used for bug reporting. I guess primary sources are main statements or manuals… so official info released by either CCTV or stat cards at airshows etc…

The third source talks about the 96 Chinese international Aerospace expo and its a report so that would be primary info wouldn’t it? Correct me if i’m wrong.

Here’s a book stating 30G but not specifying the missile variant, and it shows a PL-5C picture

This picture was a snapshot taken from the 中国争气机 video and it seem to show a composite extension of the hardpoint able to carry seemingly 6 bombs on two of them. They also do look like 250kg ones and this is currently not in any of the Chinese vehicles. Anyone able to identify the bombs?

There are indeed so-called J-8HF, but they are all radar and internal improvements, and the most basic radar hood closure method will not change,or rather, it will not intentionally change to the J-8F style radar cover.In addition, a pair of sensor wings will be added to the vertical tail wing, the position of sensor wings is different from J-8DF.

Honestly i’m confused… it seems that there are plenty of times where they specify if they’re talking about PL-5 A or B … example being the range.
But then they don’t specify if the 30g claim is for the A B or C version… taken this way it might seem like they claim all PL5 variants to be able to pull 30gs but that doesn’t make a lot of sense does it?
