this picture doesn’t mean anythig. Nothing here is mounted on any pilon, You cannot use this as an evidence, it’s just for show the weapons used by this aircraft.
I have seen it already but the missiles are not installed on the pylons so we cant accept this as a source.
Also its worth mentioning that original PL-11s required CW illuminator which the J-8Fs originally didn’t have. So the pictures of PL-11 could be a new variant of PL-11 or maybe they added a CW illuminator in J-8F’s radar.
This is the most genuine proof see on the other side of the wing the missiles are kept in a symmetry and front order this was during an excercise and pl11 was test from the inner most pylon

But they did and test was successfully and j8h did not have to be accurate … J8 f possess all previous avionics and missiles
It doesn’t work like that, the picture You are using was made for show the weapons the aircraft can use, and the logic You are using is not accepted by gaijin (aka it’s not an evidence).

So YOU have to prove the project was cancelled like Swift F7 if you want it to receive more than 2 PL12s.

Remember that all information is through sources and this plane never saw a battle outside china . It is highly suggested that it can carry pl 12 ,11, 10 ,9 ,r77, r27. It’s highly classified still now so no book or info is genuine.
But pl 8 for br 13 is unfair anyway.

Stop being ignorant, I was using the 4x PL-12s as only a example and I want nothing but pure historical accuracy if nations like China doesn’t get exceptions like USSR. The current J-8F loadout is completely fine to be besides the PL-8s which should be upgraded to PL-8Bs (if not then renamed to PL-8As).
And that Swift F.7 image proves absolutely nothing lmao, I don’t even main Britain anymore

There’s really low chance of it receiving PL-9 as it wasn’t a part of its official loadout. It’s probably in the files for a exported aircraft. Original PL-9 and PL-8A isnt very different.
Anything is better than pl8 at 13.0 … sparrows asphide magic mantra etc…this missile is very uncompetitive at this br 13.0

J-8H could only mount 2 PL-11.
J-8F can only mount 2 PL-11.
Any J-8 that can mount RH weapons can only br mounted 2 at most.
Unless you want your wings to snap when you spawn because of structural limitations go ahead and add 4 PL-11 or PL-12.
