I personally don’t play sim but well, it was so divided last version when people both want BR raised and lowered. I hope they take out J7E to a different line so that I don’t have to suffer J11A before J10.
Probably should be separated by a “light fighter” tree or a “heavy fighter” tree, just like the USTT F-16s and F-15s, but the problem is that there are not enough aircraft in the PLAAF.
I guess “heavy fighter” tree would be fine if we gets J-8I, J-8E and J-8D which is basically J-8B with lookdown radar.
However, “light fighter” TT would be problem because there are no aircraft can go between J-7II and J-7E since there are no points for adding J-7C which is basically J-7D without some functions including CMs.
I wouldn’t see a problem particularly with J7C and J8H could be given as a J8 with PL11. JL9 could potentially be along the line as well, as it does have some ‘mig21’ heritage. Q5/JH7 line could join up with bomber line, like the Russian techtree.
not even that op, brother this thing has the best turn rate for its br besides the drakens and even then it can outrate it if it has full fuel, it easily beats any jet in a 1 circle fight and even in a 2 circle fight in dogfights, plus with the very agile PL-5 it gets it can just climb and slaughter and plane no matter the amount of countermeasures dropped, the ONLY thing that can counter this is radar guided missles and even then it can notch and chaff or just multipath, it is a hard counter to all aircraft essentially and since it can get down to 10.0 it can stomp anything there without resistance.
The J-7E would probs be fine moving up, but this isn’t true, the PL-5B is VERY flare hungry. The only time you would not be able to flare it is if it is halfway up your tailpipe.
