no the pl5 is also lighter by quite a bit
4.5kg. The delta v differs by like 80m/s. Which is hardly noticable in battles since more often than not the kinetics of carriers will make up for the 10%.

What’s that supposed to mean? I don’t get the necessity of sarcasm, I am just stating a fact that the difference of the kinetics of carriers will matter far more than the 10% difference in delta V.
and I just said the chinese j7 are faster compared to the french stuff at 10.0/10.7 so the gap for the pl5 extends…
That justifies 11.0. I think we can agree on that. No 11.3 nonsense, it’s not worth 11.3.

j7d has to got atleast to 11.0 and j7e is still okay at 11.3 when it was 11.0 it just dominated 11.0(but it has capabilities to annoy the mig25 so I wouldnt mind seeing this on 11.0

The 11.0 was a legacy thing, cause previously it was suffering hard, and then all of a sudden, no more ARH missiles, no more F16s, and then suddenly it just ruled. Gaijin is soooo slow on making it 11.3. Prob could just moved it to 11.7 with all aspect missile.
It was 11.0 for sooooo long. Saw the top tier change from like 12.0 - 13.0.
Maybe the J-7E pilot wasnt the best because the J-7E turns better at any speed, all it needs to do is hold S and win
Not like I’m a good pilot but I would say I am pretty average. Most of those ended up in stall speed gun fights. Also turning better is not winning the fight automatically. U need a significant enough advantage to pull the shot off, which is a struggle for J-7E’s 60 round 30mm.

Pretty much the same as far as I can see. Both 27900 for two seconds. The delta V as mentioned is different.
These charts are always a bit inaccurate to how the aircraft actually feel in game. Yeah the J-7E probably wins this more often than not, but its usually a hard fought battle where slight mistakes can cost you the fight against an F-5.
The J-7E should eat the F-5 alive in a stall fight.
All you really need to do is ratefight and the F-5 falls behind, I agree that the 30mm is hard to aim, but thats on the pilot, not the plane.
Well, yes, but it applies the same to the F-5E if the pilot fucks up he will lose, this argument is rather ambiguous
