Who decides to pick up the game and then immediately declares “oh I want that J-7D”, a pretty obscure plane, and certainly mig 21s are not “cool” to the average person.

Well…I meant it isn’t known to the average person as F35, F14, su 27 etc etc.
Also I know Mig 21 is cool, and personally speaking, has been my nation’s air defense network for many years, even serves as a trainer in form of modernized versions.

Also Mig21s such an iconic plane especially if your nations airforce actually flew them.
F111 does something for me being an aussie and seeing them at the yearly riverfire festival doing a dump and burn. Im sure there would be people out there that has the same affection for Mig21s

Outright misinformation. Fishbed is such an iconic jet that even after 70 years since it maiden flight it is still in service. The one that NVA used against the war in the sky against the better avionic yet worse AF F4 used by the USAF ? Like please , I know you are not the sharpest tool but saying Fishbed is not “cool” is just unacceptable and bringing up newer modern jet to raise the bar doesn’t help.

But aye 4 x pl5B is what’s on tbe damn J7E which while a substantially better air frame shows how effective these missiles are.
Also i do get mixed up with Chinese missiles as theres quite a few
honestly the j7d is only a problem when theres like 4 on you lol, im flying the j35xs a lot more and when i get killed by one its because A) i wasnt paying attention B) i positioned myself like an idiot and got 5v1’d C) i ran out of fuel (lol) and got gunned down
in a normal fight though? yeah the j35xs can absolutely clap the j7d’s shit, its pretty fair imo.
i actually find the swiss hunter more annoying for other reasons hah
