It’s simple, 40 chaffs are enough to notch 10 missiles. Just don’t put yourself in unfavorable situations the J-15T is currently a purely defensive fighter jet.

Yep, based on my experience with War Thunder, the plane is underperforming because it lacks ECM it doesn’t matter that 90% of top-tier planes have it too but my plane is the only one suffering because I actually know how modern dogfights work. To say that the J-15T isn’t a defensive fighter everyone knows that in reality, combat start at 70 km, and they all fly in a straight line, launch their 10 missiles, and dive-bomb until they get hit by a missile.

Thats fine. IRL China has the better Missiles. If we give China it´s full capabilities good luck surviving. No nation on earth has anything that outranges the PL-17. The US is developing something but it isnt operational yet.

PL-17 range 350 to 400 Kilometers. AIM-260 JATM around 250 Kilometers. Meteor max Range 120 Kilometers. I do in fact know what I am talking about.
But they won’t get anything the plane will stay as it is. The plane generally has a positive KD; the PL-15 is a next-generation missile that has already been rejected.
Weapons that were never actually used… Chinese weapons are just paper tigers.

tbh I think ‘everything any country says about its own weapons is propaganda and everything any other country says about the same weapons is cope’ is just. A good rule to live by but it does seem to be especially true about Chinese systems, in both senses

I’m not American, nor do I believe 100% in the military’s claims, but to say that a dictatorship with ballistic missiles powered by water instead of fuel has missiles with a range of 400 to 500 km is just ironic
