J-15T - Worth It?

“But it has to lose, though I don’t see people accepting that the plane would have to take a nerf in terms of the number of missiles remember, people always want everything” You were just presented with numerous reasons why not. Could you maybe state why you think that way and not just pull out statements with the logic “It has to because I think so”?

“Nerfed” how?

probably it not being true IIR (like every other IIR or for that matter multi element missile)

The seeker on the AIM-9X-2 in Warthunder doesn’t reflect reality, the Israeli anti-air missile has a dual-pulse motor, but there’s still a lot of work to be done.

Can you prove that?

It might be possible, but the J-15T’s radar is clearly superior to that of the Su-30SM. The missiles are at least 14.3 (following the logic of the Golden Eagle). There are several points to consider, but if there are only 10 missiles in total, I don’t see a problem.

Prove it,the AIM-9X has an IIR seeker, and there are no IIR seekers in War Thunder, in War Thunder, the AIM-9X simply combines the two types of IRCCM available in the game.

Tbf, most IIRs won’t since we don’t know how their seekers actually work so everyone will have the same seeker but different kinematic performance (ASRAAM being king of course…)

Basically ARH but make it IIR lol (funny MICA IR seeker change INCOMING)

I think it’ll be good when they come. Everyone has their unavoidable dart, some are faster, some slower but does some crazy 180/360 turns etc etc. It will be a fun time in 14.7+

Even the F-5C never had any countermeasures, yet in the game it has 60 of them. What’s more, the lack of ECM mechanics is also very unrealistic, especially since this is the fighter’s primary weapon against ARH missiles.

I see that nothing bothers you and you try to explain everything away with “adapting”; you’re the most loyal sheep in the flock—I see you’ll accept anything. Even if flying tanks that shoot lasers are added to the game someday, will you say, “We have to adapt and adjust because it’s just a game”?

The forum is for sharing your observations and thoughts about the game; if everyone were so docile and accepted everything as it is, what would be the point of the forum?..

FFS IT DOES NOT DEPEND ON ECM

there is no proof of that, it probably has an ecm suite like every other 4th gen+ jet, but it does not depend on it, just like how it has physical countermeasure to defeat missiles.

But that isn’t a problem with the J-15T, the Gripen E, for example, was designed entirely with electronic warfare in mind

The problem is when “you’re a wallet warrior” who hasn’t learned how to play the game, yet you come along and offer your observations about the game.

Hey this is off topic Sweatboy.

The problem arises when the wallet warriors perform better on the battlefield than you do, and yet you try to discredit them—you’re a prime example of a cow that moos a lot but gives little milk :)

Men, what do you mean? I genuinely don’t think you guys can be real, but anyway, go ahead and keep complaining, because according to your sources, the F-5C never had any countermeasures.

It effectively does, tbh

Low physical CM count, the only “reliable” defense it has is its ECM

Ergo, it depends on it

its just a normal defensive suite that was inherited from its predecessors

also every modern jet basically depends on their ECM

Why did they go through the effort of removing half of the countermeasures space instead of just leaving it alone like on russian models? They both have ecm systems so what was the point in getting rid of half of the countermeasures i wonder?

It’s cause the Russian model also has reduced countermeasures (su-33)

Never realized the su 33 had less countermeasures than other variants, thank you.
