The F-2A was released in the game about a year ago, and since then I haven’t played with it for even a second. I’m tired of this endless grind, Gaijin.
I downloaded the game again to play with SEP V3, but then I remembered that I’ll need at least 3 months to grind through it without a premium account. And even after all that, they did this:
400 000 + 361 954 + 420 000 = 1 181 954;
This is what I earn per game:
I would literally have to play 236 matches to get a single tank that I want—that would take 40 to 60 hours of gameplay!
That’s outrageous. If you’re going to say that WarThunder is free and Gaijin needs to survive, with all due respect: CHARGE FOR THE GAME. Take away the free version and make it cost $80+ like GTA VI or whatever other crap, but for God’s sake, stop this bullshit.
I feel like someone who has lost all motivation to keep playing this trash.
I won’t just take this lying down; I’ll do what all the other players and even YOUTUBERS who are also fed up with this are doing.

So either play for fun or just move on to a different game. I only play war thunder with friends now, it’s much more fun when you don’t bother grinding

I agree. The grind sucks and needs to be adjusted. Especially for ground. The grind is absolutely insane. Even with a premium tank + premium account I only get like 5k rp per match. Air is alright imo if you use both premium and premium vehicle but free to play is just torture.

Why didn’t you got Mig-29 line to get to the top vehicle and get the research bonus? You have the research bonus for tanks, but you research the newly added M1A2, so you don’t get the extra bonus for the first month. Grinding top tier without premium is a waste of time. Play lower tiers for fun and then buy some premium time on sale in November or get some premium vehicle that is on sale now, as it comes with some extra premium time, if you want to grind this summer.
In my opinion, go outside and enjoy the summer. This game is still going to be here. You really are not saving money by playing without premium time. Lower tiers are passable, but high tiers are a gulag without premium time.
