Its time to make crashing/avoidance of death a reportable and ban offense

3 times in one match I had 3 kills robbed from me because 3 poor sports decided to crash themselves to avoid death. Time to add a “Maneuver kill” mechanic and make it a reportable and eventually ban offense. Lets get this trash out of here.

hard no here. Because how do you differentiate between:

  • Someone intentionally crashing
  • Someone making a genuine mistake in a dogfight
  • Someone getting a massive lag spike that body slams them into the ground

Could be done, though I do see issues

I think it could work a bit better if the game would record what movement inputs were being used at the time of the crash. If you intentionally pointed the plane at the ground then a system could work, but even then it would have faults,

I hope they can see that DEV side. I wondered about that. I’m sure if they look at the player view as I have a few replays you can clearly see the person dive for the deck the second they see that a missile has a real chance at hitting them

Knowing Gaijin they probably could have a system like that but likely don’t due to issues the system could have.

People crash a lot randomly at top tier… Those who multipath can accidentally fly too low, and in dark maps it is impossible to see what is in infront of you. But if you’re in a low-altitude dogfight, crashes happen a lot.

The people I am directing this at are the ones you see who blatantly do it. Like you know good and well they didn’t have to dive right into the ground. I understand black outs happen. Thats why reporting it and having the action looked at by a DEV would be helpful. If they can see beyond a shadow of a doubt it was intentional that should be an immediate week ban and if it happens again it should be a permanent ban.

You know it’s very stressful in a top-tier dogfight; 90% of the time, you look at your enemy instead of the front… and holding the “C” for freecam keep looking back hoping you send no missles. So crashes still happen often if your putting pressure on the enemy.

I feel like its doable for higher Brs with missiles, because they could just code it to where if you crash and there was a active missile lock on you credit for a “maneuver kill” goes to the attacker, but idk how they would do it for low br.
