I get what you’re saying but I play the objectives and usually bring 3 vehicles I don’t leave after one death and still get low rewards even when I used to play more
Some of you are really quick to out yourselves as jobless NEETs when you say 50 rounds is “nothing”.
50 games of average 3-4 minutes game means nothing for grinding top tier tanks (3-4 minutes comes from %48 activity)
The most I do is 10-12 matches. You’re just punishing yourself for nothing.
Punishment for what ? I couldn’t even get a chance to boot up for a single game for 2 days
Considering one higher tier premium vehicle and premium time can easily cost you 50 euros, I think the grind is still too long. If you wanted to do this for all ten nations, you’d be spending loads of cash just on this game alone.
We received dozens of new vehicles throughout the TTs but our RP/SL gain hasn’t increased to follow that.
I’m mostly a Ground player and was shocked how quickly I managed to research through my first top tier jets. Air is definitely easier to finish grinding.
I grinded two 12.0 Merkavas, one Namer and parts of the 11.3 Tsrikhon, so probably around 1.3m RP in 334 games with 11.3 Merkava while having good stats on average. All with premium account.
Unless you’re going in with just one vehicle and dying within the first 1-2 minutes, you’re spending way too much time going through round after round with no breaks in-between. But I guess Gaijin wants people doing that for their own ungodly reasons.
Top tier Israeli Air took me just over 2 and a half days (albeit when the Kfir Canard was in it’s prime, and by bombing and killing 1-2 people per sortie), while Israel ground has taken me significantly longer, both completed with top tier premiums (although supplemented with high tier vehicles once R7 is reached, as per my grinding doctrine)
Ground needs higher research multipliers, or more forgiving score calculations, grinding air takes half as long median and that shouldn’t be the case
My preferred way of grinding ground consists of buying a rank 6 prem, then grinding up to rank 7, upon reaching that, I’ll typically talisman a good vehicle and grind the top tiers from there (TKX P, Leopard 2A4, FV4030, VBC p2), this helps me avoid burnout but generally not the most stat efficient way of grinding
I always chuckled when seeing that I received something like 20k RP for bombing a base twice and getting one kill on a player controlled aircraft, all with some random 11.0 - 12.0 trash can. Getting 20k RP in Ground is extremely difficult without a premium vehicle/talisman, even for nuke-worthy performances in games that last 20+ minutes.
Even more so if you consider how Ground needs to grind through aircraft and helicopters to be fully competitive in their mode. Fully competitive player in GRB needs to spend much more time to get his whole lineup than a competitive ARB player, which I find to be really ridiculous.
Here for example, my first match in the Merkava Mk4B, I was midway to the battlefield with a nuke before the match ended, and only enough RP for parts and a third of FPE, albeit a loss, yet that performance shoukd be rewarded more than 2 assists in ARB
It’s either blatant favoritism of Air by Gaijin or just yet another case of incompetence.
The grind overall is ridiculous in both sides. 200 air rp for 1 kill but 4500 rp for flying out to get that kill, gaijin has the rp economy botched af right now
the grind for ground is hellish after 8.0 (survival becomes way more difficult and so it is stacking kills) and helicopters also requiere a lot of RP/time at least if you farming ground assault
even with premium vehicle and account ground gives you around 5~6k in a decent game which still takes a lot for those 150.000 RP vehicle let alone the top tier one which is usually around 400.000 RP, this is like two weeks of gaming non stop for those with premium acc and vehicle and at least a few months for those who play this game without any of that as they get a consistent 1~2,5k RP per game lol
i think it would be useful if objectives such as first strike and others could give some amount of RP as reward and not just silver lions, first strike for example gives 250 silver lions which is very low for a reward that only one player in both teams can get per game
