Yes, in fact they are German tank drivers’ uniforms, it doesn’t take long to recognize them, but some think that a Panther on Italian soil is Italian, they don’t even know the history.

I don’t think the Germans wasted time training one or two Italian crews to use the Panther (also because the training lasted several months) so if there had been such training for Italian crews it would have been more numerous, and historically known.

Italy was my very first country that i unlocked top tier with, and although it would be nice having a panther, as its quite powerful, yes but also no. The hungarian panther aka 44m TAS could be added, of course an italian panther could be too, however as you can see, people are quite divided about it, so its better not to risk it.
The Panthers are post war tanks that where there to bolster the French army after the war untill they coudl start native production. The french panther is historical acurate, its what the frnch army had, the italian panther is not.
All soviet tanks are depressed these days…
