Italy is going to have a very good eurofighter considering they get iris t and asraam and the pirate irst, germany only uses iris t without pirate, while uk only uses asraam. And italy isnt hard to grind at all. Italy is going to be op (is already op)

Do you play SIM? IRST system are a passive targeting system, but the maws system which every nation has can still notice missle fired
of course i play sim. It is most fun with these kind of jets, the cockpit will be amazing for sim. Well but as far as i heard pirate is pretty great. I have some clue what I am talking. I know that italy doesnt have LWS but i was talking abut MAWS

well again the eft wont really be the “same” if literally every other nation except germany (i am talking about warthunder nations) use the irst which is a huge difference in sim mode. that is the main difference, other than that they are the same yeah.

I think that will be the main advantage, the tree is very well rounded much more so than the UK is at the moment and a bit better than Germany particularly in the modern era where Germany has only been given the F-4F ICE.
PIRATE will not be the defining factor though I wouldn’t expect a Eurofighter to be at a higher br because it has PIRATE.
Germany decided not to buy PIRATE and instead bought more airframes. They spent probably around the same amount if not more as other Eurofighter development nations on actual airframe purchases.
They did not cheap out, other than on an individual airframe basis, but having numbers is also an advantage.
The base MAWS is the same with the EF having AESA arrays placed around the aircraft to detect incoming threats, though PI-MAWS is a thing it depends on Gaijins implementation.

I will say that though I believe PIRATE to be very useful and advantageous, others have expressed their disagreement, I suppose we will see, I know I and others will do our best to make sure its reflected properly in-game.

Only specialy for SIM, but that is a low amount of players. Most wont be able to use it competently

While i hate the tornado wtd 61, that plane propably makes germany the easiest to grind overall out of the 3, its by far the lost efficent grinder

Lastly you say so much about the PIRATE but completly forgot the AMK kit apparently which currently only Germany would get and would influence the game and bigger playerbase qay more since it applies to sim, arb and aab
As I said, based on what I’ve read it should be just as capable if not more than some radars I can think of at top tier. Particularly the one on the Baz MehSubPar without datalink and the current Flankers.
I feel you there, the F4 JUNK is also a poor pick.
I will put it out there that I disagree that it’s usage will be limited, but I agree with your overall points.
However it entirely depends on Gaijins implementation, the radar will be a lot more universal and once AESA arrives, also just flat out better particularly with LPI.
@Faster_Boiiiii some news regarding the new Italian EFA acquisition. The Italian magazine RID stated that the Eurofighter CEO said that the First of these new EFA Will be in the delivered in the current standard (that also mean that the others delivered later Will probably be in the P4E standard, as the programme Is to be concluded in 2034).
now they only need to make up and decide what the final P4E standard all will include
I think Italy might get two Typhoons, one in the regular Tech Tree as a research vehicle and the other one as Premium/Squad vehicle (since Spain already has the VRCC in the Ground TT and is one of the four countries involved in the EF2000 project)

I personally don’t think any Eurofighter should be premium/event.
For two of the nations in-game its the penultimate domestic aircraft and that makes it very unique in that respect.
