Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet

Only because Gaijin seem to have forgotten to finish implementing the equivalent UK Enhanced Paveway bomb mid way through.
Even though the model is there and the Mk.18 Paveway is already a separate entity to the previous non-GPS Mk.13 Paveway, whoever “fixed” it having the placeholder GBU-12 model seemed to decide it was meant to just be a copy paste of the “Mk.13” instead of the UK’s analogue to the GBU-48.

I don’t think so, the CM disclosure is just a little sneak peak ofc, but they didn’t really mention anything new that could also affect the EFT.

If anything, more competition for it to face, since china is getting a new top contender jet apparently.

I was disappointed that they didn’t even mention anything about who might expect AESA next or give any hints to what the “modern technology” being added is

Yeah, seemed to me like it was pretty focused on new tech trees and sub trees additions.

oh definitly yes, misty has a history of weird questions, and this exactly one has been explained multiple times to him already as well / was at the very least present

weird questions?

Yes, you constantly ask the same things over and over. even if they have just been discussed

how is that weird? And why can’t I ask multiple questions over again, when I want to hear opinions from different people?

because its always the same people answering you either way.
or you asked technical question that dont change in the first place

well for me its weird how germany would get asraams

Lul, you can see also how the Canards go in the normal position from the Parking position

Could it be that gaijin really kind of f*cked up in their modelling of reduced RCS + Notch gates? I kinda just found out in match that the radar (in this case the CAPTOR-M) prioritieses chaff over the target plane (in this case the Rafale which has a reduced RCS) even if said plane is moving towards or away from you with 200-300 m/s delta. The notch gate is considerably smaller for other planes like the Su-30 or MiG-29 and the radar doesn’t prioritise chaff even below 100 m/s delta.

Unless I missed something, Rafale does not have RCS reduction.

Weren’t there (at least) bug reports for the EF and Rafale having a RCS of <1 m² from the front?

Bug reports, yes. They were not implemented.

Ah yeah, found it. “Submitted as suggestion” ten months ago.
Interesting, so there are other things wrong. I can’t really keep a lock on the Rafale with the Captor even though it’s not even really notching and just dumping chaff (the fired AIM-120 goes haywire too in this situation).

I cant recall of the top of my head what CMs the Su-30 has. but the Rafale is dropping large calibre chaff iirc, wouldnt be surprised if that factors into this heavily.

But I dont think the CAPTOR-M likes anything that is shifting its position perpindicular to your position by any significant amount.

Su30 has large caliber CMs
