Hello, 12 year player here. I’m an American from Texas and a Germany and Sweden main, and I play with my wife who is Polish.
I want to help my wife get into the Germany lineup and she’s shown interest in the Two Fronts pack since it would be a great way for her to move up the Germany tree.
However there is a serious issue with the pack. The tank “Tiger Ost” has a German flag on it, and normally we are ok with playing a nation’s vehicles as long as we’re able to use our own decals to show our personal origins (I use the US flag and Beta Testing decal, she uses her Polish flags on her vehicles).
The German flag, even though it is not a N-zi flag, is quite jarring to her, since her family’s past involved German soldiers literally putting her family against a wall and shooting at them. Some of her family was tortured during war time. She’s told me some pretty scary stories about her family’s past. Seeing this flag on a tank in the game caused her to not want the pack, even though she wants it… without the flag. I hope this makes sense to the War Thunder team.
If something can be arranged, where we can remove that flag from “Tiger Ost” then we would feel comfortable with purchasing the pack. Please consider either removing the flag from the tank or allowing us the option of removing it.
