why is it that i have to have a rank 4 tank in one of 4 nations, i have rank 7 swedish tanks but cant play isreal>
Something to do with nations who’s tech is used in the tree, pretty sure it’s rank 4 ground/air in one of the allied nations
It’s US, UK, FR and USSR, because those four countries have a fair and varying amount of exported or captured vehicles in the Israeli tree.
Honestly, I wish they would have just started Israel at rank I like all other tree’s. Plenty of stuff exists to take it down that low. People will cry ‘copy paste’, but if you want to play Israel, you’ve got to grind many of those same vehicles in other trees anyway so what does it matter. It’d stop people jumping in at 6.0 on an M-51 with no crew skills.
There was no Israel prior 1948…

Because there are comparable light/medium vehicles to other tree’s reserve-rank 3 ones, with plenty of unique israeli modifications of ww2 tanks that could fill brs 1.0-6.0

Rank 1 isnt a “only can be ww2” thing. We have 60s vehicles in rank 1.
Israel used stuff like rank 1 french tanks so they could have a rank 1. Not sure how filled it would be but they could have it.

Absolutely no reason to kick off a conversation with such a snarky remark.
What kind of logic is this? Who is asking for an F-16 at Rank I? Why are you making such an odd strawman for me lol?
Just because Israel came into being in 1948, doesn’t mean they can’t possibly have lower rank stuff. This may shock you to learn, but post war, all the big players began selling off if not outright giving away their masses of now needless / obsolete WW2 stuff.
Israel bought, inherited, captured and modified plenty of stuff that’d fit in rank I-III. Granted the air tree would be really thin, as you’re largely limited to Beaufighter, Mosquito’s, Arava and AT-6 Harvard’s, But in ground, There is easily like 15+ different things you could put in each rank of I, II and III. Even if you really dislike the idea of similar variants, You could cut that down to like 6-10 distinctly different things per rank - which is a perfectly viable figure to warrant the inclusion of the rank.
