Israel is an independent tech tree and will stay that way.
Merkavas are Israeli made and not American, there is not one reason for the merkavas to stay or be back in the USA tech tree as Israel is an independent tech tree.

Yes, but in the meantime will give us something new to work with and be more competitive. There is also the fun factor which you lose after not getting anything for so many updates.

Sure, there are several interesting Greek fighters besides the Rafale, including the F-16C Block 52M, the Mirage 2000F Mk 2, and a modernized variant of the F-4E PI2000. It would be great to see them in the game for Israel TT, but maybe a few more Colombian too :D.
