I’d like to ask quite frankly: isn’t WarThunder on its last days?
What’s left that makes it appealing? Certainly not realism!!!
This past weekend once again provided the best examples of how a good game is being dragged further and further into ridicule:
- A T46 destroyed an Object 120 with its 7.62mm machine gun
- An Italian Leo 2A4 couldn’t kill a German Leo 2A4 with four shots. Shot 1: barrel; Shot 2: underside of the hull, frontal; Shot 3: ammunition rack; Shot 4: bottom of the turret, right between the crew
- A T-90 Bishmal couldn’t kill a T-80U with three shots. Shot 1: front underside of the hull; Shot 2: side of the first road wheel; Shot 3: side of the ammunition compartment
- An Abrams 1 survives a 1,000 lmp bomb
- An Ariete at 10.4 cannot destroy a turret with a single shot; 3 shots to the ammunition compartment
- An MI-28MN cannot be locked onto by a top-tier 12.7 AA. It doesn’t matter what missiles are used,
- The side armor of a BMPT completely withstands a 650mm Leo 2A7 Dart.
- One-Death-Leavers and a game changing factor
- When spawning in a TopTier AA with side vehicle, after placing the side vehicle you are losing your spawn protection instantly.
… and so on and so on… and now the problems are across all nations.

Why should anyone still play this game???
The old-timers have enough units to change between ground and air and maybe water. And even those are complaining more and more, through Steam, through Google-Feedback and other platforms.
For newcomers ??? There is not even a chances
After more than 1,500 hours of tank playtime and over 30,000 battles, I find the decline of War Thunder truly sad.
And unfortunately, it seems Gaijin is still unwilling to steer the game back in the right direction, other than simply adding a) new units and b) new graphics with every update.
