Because when you can there’s nothing left to play for anymore.
Just look at how desperate you are to paint out that the game is the issue…
@ap0calyptica Stating facts is not protecting anything other than the truth.
War Thunder’s community has more lies in it about the game and company than League’s…
Not sure how toxicity managed to get this bad for WT’s community…
I think it’s the same in many games like this because people generally come on to complain. Happy players just enjoy playing the game and don’t seek the forums in most cases. This leads to an echo chamber of haters that reinforce each other’s frustrations and anger and give the false idea everyone supports them when it’s just a small proportion of the millions who play the game. This then means anyone who does have a difference of opinion is an easy target for the mob.
I would agree there.I have not read the conditions but you are purchasing GE and that is it a straight purchase. What you then decide to do with it in game is up to you.
Imho you might consider taking the RED PILL asap.

I have zero clue why you think that Western companies (or governments) would be (more) honest to you. I mean just remember the news and corporate policies during the pandemic, you lost in most countries your job if your employer asked for a mandatory vaccination and you refused to take the shot.
-
I do agree that communication by gaijin is rather rude and looks not really like they would care, but this was always their Achilles heal - totally ignorant and a heavy resistance towards constructive feedback.
-
I do agree that the game in itself is rather a mess as countless bugs and flaws force even experienced players to look for niches which enables fun and challenges despite these shortcomings, but your rant towards the Russian Federation is imho based on pure indoctrination.
-
Try to go outside in any Western countries with non-popular opinions - at best you just lose your job. So the freedom you feel is just an illusion.
-
You live in a bubble of stereotypes - and your history of gaijin is not complete - you forgot the Chinese investor of gaijin. With some research you find out, that investments in foreign companies always fulfill a certain purpose and the CCP decides what is the goal.
That’s just how life works. The vast majority of people don’t or refuse to have a voice. So, while you might be speaking on the behalf of 1 000 000 happy players. I’m probably speaking on behalf of 1 000 000 upset players who find themselves not enjoying the game, are taking a break until issues have been fixed, or have given up on the game entirely.
And the likelihood of someone happy with the game coming to these forums is much higher than someone who gave up on it, is taking a break, or no longer cares about it. So, if anything, the bias here will be skewed in the opposite way that you’ve assumed–and especially when you take the staff contributions into account.
EA tried to make people pay somewhere around 400 dollars to unlock Darth Vader or spent 40 hours to unlock him. Tried to defend loot boxes by calling them “Surprise mechanics”. The removal of founders of a company that they had acquired, replacing them with people who were never there in the first place leaving it as a shell, a puppet of its former self. While other companies have done similar. EA always took it further than required.
Gaijin is nowhere near that, they are greedy, and excuse my French but EA are Greedy Bastards who would milk their consumers as much as possible just to get the Golden Eggs and milk.
What the hell are you even saying…your statement has no bondable foundation. Countries are not gonna run a game company. GAME Companies and other businesses will make efforts to run them.
Corporations are not countries. They are completely different figureheads, Governments around the world run their country how THEY see fit. It doesn’t mean it’s right or wrong in their eyes but to others that’s a different story.
Corporations on the other hand are not the government, they do not have a say in how a country runs at all in the grandeur. So to answer your question, no country is gonna run it, a corporation would and they will either bring it to their knees or shut it down if it is acquired without consideration for the communities built around it.
Russia and China have no say in Gaijin Entertainment, it’s a private company.
No government has a say, which is why there’s no bias toward any tech tree in War Thunder.
We’ve gone from talking about just the company to now geopolitics. Blud, you’re on track to get the thread shut down faster if that’s your aim.
Now, where’s my popcorn.
Anyways, Gaijin has issues as a company. That much is undisputable. The game has issues. Also undisputable. As for the morality of it? Well, from an objective standpoint they’ve done both moral and amoral things in regards to the game. As for the company itself? Well, not enough conclusive evidence on that front.
Like others have mentioned, though. Gaijin doesn’t hold a candle to the likes of EA and Activision-Blizzard. Remember, Activision literally milked a franchise called Guitar Hero into the ground and then shot it in the back of the head unceremoniously. Not to mention all the projects EA pulled the plug on simply because they didn’t think they were profitable enough.
I could go on, but certainly you understand at this point.
Though I’m less interested in continuing this ultimately pointless discussion and more interested in getting Gaijin on the right path when it comes to War Thunder.
The goal of they who put the politics out there was to make the thread get closed and cleaned up so they can cry foul more.
This really does encapsulate the outlook of everyone saying “Well maybe if you just spend another 4 years grinding to get the vehicles you actually want you’ll stop crying, that or spend 100 dollars to speed it up.” Which is just deranged.
oh,didn’t know i guess that’s…worst.
Which was always wrong, and based in xenophobia. Not crazy, they were perfectly sane; Having wrong information is not crazy.
And all RNG is datamined, for RNG to be nation specific that’d increase the game size and development size.
No it wasn’t Xenophobic
Why are you denying reality
It was PROVEN on old forums that Gaijin gave extra armor to Russian tanks
By same dataminers that you are using to prove “something”
That is just one example .
Gaijin did not give Soviets “extra armor”. A damage model was accidentally duplicated on exclusively T-34, and T-44s lost their roof for months. Both are bugs, one is positive, and one is negative.
Neither were intentional, and it didn’t impact other tanks.
And you cite the dataminers that prove they were bugs and not intentional.
Hell… not even the US butts in… you would think they would want a say in how something preforms…
I remember players coming in like ten years ago, wondering why the P-51 is not as over powered as they have heard in war stories or movies they have seen… and wonder why they keep losing in the P-51…
You or others do not speak for anyone… everyone has their own voice to use here…
We tend to have very “loud” speakers here, they tend to think they speak for the majority just because they are making the most noise…
“The vast majority of people don’t or refuse to have a voice.”
What you fail to realize is, most players are not that fussed with game play, they are just happy to play…
If they have some kind of reason to raise issues, then they can use the forum to raise issues and or offer feedback…
EVERYONE has a right to raise concerns here, NO ONE has refused to have a voice here… its just a simple fact of the matter they just do not care right now, they are just happy to play…
I have had enough of this stupid nonsense… this personal attack ends now…
Thank you! and to everyone else that understands…
And if there are any issues with Staff, then concerns can be raised with Community Managers
indeed…
We actually encourage those that do not know English, or English is not their native language here to use some kind of Translator to chat or discuss issues and or offer Feedback etc… AI, wouldnt have been my first choice my self… but hell, I failed English and its my native language lol…
so, really no harm in him using AI to help make sure there is nothing lost in translation… I dont blame him for trying to be careful or using AI to help keep things respectful… so, good on him!
Does not mean we have to agree with somethings… but, everyone has their right to opinion… as long as its respectful…
But… anyway… the disruption has been sorted out, and Thread Cleaned up a bit… Thanks guys!
Thank you for the clean up
Nobody knows that. While I find the American “Red under the bed” mentality tiresome none of us know what link Gaijin have unless we are at a high level working for them. Companies have to play ball if they want to sell a product in particular country sometimes.
