I’m an old player (2016) and knew the game in 2014 at 7years old and guess what ? I spent rp on that Panther II and they removed it from me, I was here and I spent rp on it. Furthermore I have Flakpanzer341, Tiger II 105 and Maus. So yeah I was there but gaijin decided another way for my dear Panther II.

i think hes merely campaigning for fairness since stuff like the R2Y2 is still here and has been for a long time while the german tanks were removed outright even though much more of them was built.
the panther II is the least controversial because we know how much of it was built.

the panther II turret COULD house the long 88 but as per the designer the turret had to be lengthened by around 9 inches or so
R2y2 is set to be removed. It has been a while because gaijin is never in a hurry when it comes to japanese vehicles.

No it isn’t because the Panther F turret is an entirely separate project from the Panther II.
The Panther II had its own turret design.
which was nearly the same as the F turret (schmalturm) but simply extended a bit if the long 88 was going to be installed
Who cares, it is what you got, don’t be ungrateful. All that matters is that we all have access to these unique vehicles. And not some botched “historically accurrate” facsimiles that cannot and will not replace the real deal. No to disgusting imitations.

No. You’re confusing with the actual project to mount the long 88 on the Schmalturm. The Panther II at no point was meant to mount this turret as the Panther II itself was already cancelled before the normal Schmalturm even became a thing.
The actual turret of the Panther II is the “schmale Blendenausführung”. It has a 75 mm and originally no rangefinder.
What are you on about? If you want fake tanks, there is a very popular tank game that is full of them.
i know what you mean, but going by the similarity and design of both turrets, it is better than the turret with the night vision device rn
I do not care about that other game, there are fakes in WT, and those should stay and be accessible to everyone. Still worlds between WT and the other one.

The only thing that makes the turret you’re implying to be “better” is the fact that it was an actual design that could physically fit the 88 mm cannon.
It’s still completely ahistorical by the simple fact that the Panther II was never even meant to mounted it.
i agree the schmalturm cant mount the long 88, hence just mount the long 75 because the 88 was a proposal after the 75 was planned to be mounted.
There should not be any fake vehicles in this game which is why they remove them. Gaijin messed up early in the cycle and is working on correcting it. Those Japanese planes are set to get removed once their slow Japanese vehicle making is finished. I think it should be more upseting that they have all of these real vehicles stuck behind the ‘exclusive’ status. I think those vehicles should get recycled into future events.
I wish I could put in words how much your vehicle racism disgusts and angers me. In life, almost all mistakes are unredeemable. You cannot just correct it afterwards. When you ran someone over, that person is gone forever for example. Gaijin made their initial decision F O R those fakes, now they should S T A N D - W I T H this move. Gaijin Devs have the special gift to learn and redeem themselves, but they rather push their Russian propaganda into our minds.
Fighting tanks from the future and Russian propaganda is much more BS than some niche vehicles, seriously.

They did. They basically went “we fucked up and will correct it. We will give you guys time to get them if you want them before we remove them.”
I think the Russian government might have some more pressing matters than what goes on in some random video game.
