Caused by different aircraft, not by different missiles. Gaijin made the dumb decision to sometimes change missile stats in subtle, (read: NOT noticable by you, ways) that are meant to reflect a change regarding the HOST AIRCRAFT and not the missile itself.
They are identical in WT. Do not spread misinformation.
can you even explain to me what these terms mean? No? didnt think so… don’t spread misinformation
this is the even more accurate stats, using the default parameters on both (not modified by host aircraft)
The literal only coded difference is a gimbal limit of 55 on the 7F and 60 on the 7M, which is not physically noticable by you, as biased/human as you are.
You are forgetting the most obvious difference, one has F and one has M. 🫠
I will say the 5 degrees gimbal limit and the aircraft is tends to come on does probably explain why the 7m is considered slightly more difficult to evade than the 7f in warthunder.
I also didn’t know they were that identical in game 🤣 confirmation bias is an amazing thing.
No, both are identical in all moments in gameplay. People make up differences in their mind because the human brain is absolutely atrocious at figuring out these things. It’s wrong 99% of the time.
Oh I dodged that guys 7F but not that other guy’s 7M? Must be because the missile is better! I will then continue to say the 7M is better for 3 years until someone corrects me with receipts in a war thunder forum thread or reddit or discord etc
No u are ponting on the defult aim7m which not common at all and idk if its even on any aircraft in the game
Its make way more sanse to use f15s/f16s aim7m
So does this mean that if I unlock the AIM-7F, there’s no need to unlock the AIM-7M? To be honest, the F/A-18A should be allowed to use the AIM-7P—at least then, spending tens of thousands of XP on extra research would have some meaning.
