This is why I challenged him to find a video of nasams or iris t missing a drone, those videos are always from the opposite perspective so there is no argument for “suppression” of the video. There are plenty of tor and pantsir missing but can’t really say the same for western shorad. Neptune isn’t even low observable but it still gets through. Hell “flamingo” would be might worthless against any semi modern air defense yet in the few engagements it has had it hit known defended targets.
Also are we forgetting the moskva? The mighty flagship sunk by a single ashm? What a showing for air defense.
This to say I don’t want Russian systems nerfed I just want everyone getting the same treatment, why in the hell does aster 30 go subsonic at the 40km mark when it’s kinematic range is 130km? Why does a system which on multiple occasions has outperformed patriot get beaten by a modernized so Soviet piece? They should have equal range in-game 75km on the buk and 80km on the sampt, but the missile perfomance shouldn’t be equal. Cause one was implemented with care and one wasn’t.

i wonder how much of the lacking anti air accuracy is down to poor QC in the factoring producing said missiles. like the s400 is overhyped alot but it really shouldnt have failed as much as it did against threats like atacms and storm shadow, and as far as drones go? thats not a failure of the s400, it should be protected by shorad against those threats

Iskanders N khinzal are usued around 40+ numbers Monthly, You can use OSINT Accounts to know the truth that are non biased. I dont where u get ur information from, But iskanders have had no issues evading patriot sites like the videos we have seen of them getting hit whilst returning fire.

Why would they be any good at it? It’s not in their target set of supplied missiles, nor the -104 anyway for that it would be closer to a THAAD battery or other upcoming system.
it’s not like the Batteries in Ukraine are the most modern configurations, supported to anything near what a US battery would be under optimal conditions, let alone expected to have on the regular nor slinging the optimal missiles for hypersonic targets in the terminal phase.
Assuming that they were to even be targeting a point within their protected zone. Which is what shrinks the most as the average velocity of a target increases, and its not like they have an excess of batteries and so can protect every target that would be of sufficient value to be targeted by such a missile.
Haven’t Pac-3MSE/CRI missile been spotted being used in recent times? Im pretty sure we saw photos of them. They might have been using a mix of older avionics for detection, but certainly are capable enough for this discussion as it was hyped earlier amongst media outlets for taking out zircons. No proof but im lening on the side of the UA airforces have taken out 1 atleast. They usually dont bullshit as much.
They might not be purely up-to US standard modern pac-2 systems, but surely they are supplied with complete systems from nato countries. Like r we forgetting that?
Also not to disregard the patriots in anyway, like i said they are good for their roles. But my main point was iskanders arent exactly getting intercepted in huge numbers in anyway, that might be interpreted as “they arent any game changers”. They are used in large numbers and have proven themselves to be good enough to avoid most systems especially when targeted away from air defense sites unless we involve the US exceptionally.
theres way too much going on in ukraine to judge, ukraine has limited patriot coverage a scarcity of missiles and both pac 2 and pac 3 interceptors and “hypersonics” its a tbm.

youre claiming that its particularly effective against patriot is something you pulled up.
and please dont pull up the recent news story about “upgrades” they see a reduction in interceptions rates and just wind up assuming stuff, despite the fact many missiles fall outside of patriot/sampt range and many missiles are ignored(mind you theyre not just counting misses when talking about intercept rate) the fact sampt has done better in that report tells you the data is likely not well compiled, as much as i love sampt its an equal to pac 2.
To be fair pantsir s1 and other variants have been utter garbage against drones and such in le special military operation even though some get those weird quad launchers of small missiles that are literally meant for drones
i think replacing the guns with micro missiles is the future for pantsir.
