Yep, on the topic of multirole. Su-57s irl are actively carrying out Kh-59 strikes almost monthly if not more. The notorious kh-59Mk2 or kh-69 are usually reported well. Cruise missiles are highly critical for their roles. Kh-69 actively shown or promoted at air shows as well. Pretty decent multirole fighter that actually gets combat experience.
But nothing to take away from any other jets. F-35s are great multiroles irl and they do their part with how large sized nato is and different jets are at disposal. You got growlers doing ew work that is insane and other jets for air to air supremacy and F-35s on the sead too. Its all a combination with which USAF is great on. Always respected their coordination
Russia shrimply likes all in one jet. Fair to them it does it’s parts just fine.
i was talking in game but if wanna do irl fine with me
yes and no, at the start of some event, russian use tactics when they deploy a50 and Air defense battery close to the front. but its didnt go as well and they learned that striking long and fast with big wave of low/high glid/missile and icbm make the strike do 2x time more damage that the normal tactic strike, even so they change their air sup where they limite the launch of super long range aam, even a mig29 pilot from other side said they just watch and lock in to you and get you by suprise
The GBU-53/B & SiAW (Stand-in Attack Weapon) should be possible, and the AGM-187A and NSM (-A & -C models have Internal capability, the F-35B is external; only due to the smaller bay) is planned for introduction on Block 4 software. So there are IIR guided options, just no direct Maverick counterpart at this point is planned.
Also the AGM-88E / -F /-G can be carried internally which has an IIR mode, though would very much be a waste for most targets.
This is due to a lack of a “trapeze” type launch system, using a rail precludes it from dropping free of the internal bay before the motor fires so All IRAAMs (Sidewinder / ASRAAAM) must be carried externally on the F-35 (F-22 has a special extensible rail mount for the side bays).
SALH is only retained retained for the “positive” man in the loop post-release control of ordnance, and interoperability (as it permits much reduced danger close ranges, as it can be “handed off” to other forces) as it has otherwise been superseded by data-linked (retargetable post-release) Jam-Resistant (M-code) GPS receivers.
No, i would agree, tho i also didnt find any official documents about ammunition. Yes, the USSR docs are okay, they have plenty of info, but there is also info that syria never did aquire most modern ammunition.
Did it? Well in most modern aircraft at least they had parry. And the least modern are not the case tho
Tho no doubt about the soviet command and supply, thats true
