They did? It’s conducted multiple strikes beyond the southern seaboard in its adaptation of X-59.
Hell… There’s even a claim that it was used to guide a missile to an enemy, and so far the crash sight and claims of placement add up. There’s even proof of 81775 stationed in Belbek at the time of the shootdown, as well as flights of Su-57s being common from August '22 to November '22 in the area.
They do, but stealth is irrelevant in this sense. Even an Su-34 can strike further than an Su-57, all it has to do is climb high enough to fire off a missile.
It can be spotted by any system that uses LOW FREQUENCY(it’s important) radar (S-400 for example(bad example but let’s keep it)) or systems like Kolchuga (radio intelligence station) which essentially finds you by sniffing onto YOUR radio transmissions or radar search “beams”.
Howewer, these systems (both low frequency radar and “radio sniffer”) can not lock onto the F-22 to work out any sort of intercept option. Only give a rough information to patrolling airplanes in the area.
About planes it’s no, ships - more complicated. If we take Russia as example, most of airplanes can’t guide a missile using data from IRST station, at least it is so for all of known MiG and most of the Su that are in service and more than 10 are produced(only Su-35 and theoretically 57 can do said thing) . I assume from the information i know about those airframes.
I don’t have such a photo - if you do please post it and “negate [my] argument”.
Here’s an article that examines claims there is a “radar blocker” hiding the engine - but they are unable to replicate the claim using the images referred to in the claim.
You’d have such a photo if you spent literally 13 seconds (even timed myself for you) on google with the words “Su-57 intake”.
No fan blades! Wouldja look at that!
If you looked at Sukhoi’s own design brochure from the Akhtubinsk state flight research center, you’d see exactly what these are…
I’ll give you props, as the article you linked did show this intake blocker. It’s immediately taken away by you blatantly lying about the article’s statements, though.
They didn’t say they weren’t able to replicate it, they said “weren’t able to obtain the same level of detail”.
Yeah, the su-57 is a pretty good dog fighter but it has many flaws because of its poor construction cuality and huge lack of 5th gen fighter capabilities, like the most 5th gen thing it has are pro the thrus vectoring motors that arent even ment for it, I fucking love the su-57 but realisticly it would egt shot down before even being able to engage in a dog fight :c
