I’m sorry friend but I don’t think you understand how the radar works the Stealth component of F22 is not making it invisible to the radar it’s preventing enemy from having a radar solution to launch a missile at you
Already explained it, and i know how the F22 radar works, also the aircraft must be facing the target if it turns backwards it will get instantly spotted.
And both the J-20 and questionably the SU-57 are capable of such things as well, both them and the F-22 would need to come closer to one another to engage with their missiles.
Can’t judge on the J-20 (i’ve seen some DCS videos and always the F22 wins in BVR, but the SU-57 being a brick it wouldn’t win)
Ok I think you misunderstood what I said I’m not saying that you wouldn’t be spotted on F22 radar is that F22 you can see it on the radar and you can at least the defend against it
There is not a lot of information about the su-57 but from what i can tell it was designed as multi roll, and the f-22 was designed as a air superiority so with the su-57 being designed specifically for that task i would say the the su-57 would have more versatility for ground attack than the f-22. The f-22 can carry two 1,000 lbs JDAM bombs internally, but i think that is more of a we need something in a pinch for ground attack.
I really like the aesthetics of both planes though.

If I’m correct in assuming you’re referring to Growling Sidewinder then that’s because unlike his dogfight videos he usually uses AI to fly his bandits aircraft and actual players usually win majority of the time.
I should also mention that no video game including War Thunder and especially DCS do NOT reflect of a real aircrafts performance and is all speculation.
You can only defend against the missile that’s coming to you, but the aircraft wouldn’t be spotted untill its too late.
Again I don’t understand what you mean spotted or locked?
DCS is pretty close to reality than any other game, and War Thunder is not a realistic game and not even close to being realistic.
There is not a lot of information about the su-57 but from what i can tell it was designed as multi roll, and the f-22 was designed as a air superiority
I’d lean to the SU-57 being more capable as a multirole and not because it has a superior RCS which it does not but what it can carry unlike the F-22, the F-22 is more specialised as a air superiority only aircraft with limited to no ability to engage ground targets.
The F-22 is overall a much superior aircraft however
Biggest issue however is the fact like 2 operation SU-57 exists (not literally)
I’m talking about being spotted on the enemys radar.
you could DETECT an F22 with the WW2 shore mounted radar arrays on the coast of britain.
Detecting and locking onto +shooting at a stealth jet are two entirely different things indeed
Ok so now I understand look here F22 will be spotted on the radar that’s undoubtable truth The thing that we don’t know is at what range
Sums it up perfectly
DCS is pretty close to reality than any other game, and War Thunder is not a realistic game and not even close to being realistic
War Thunder uses manuals and such for missiles and only amplify a fight model by 1.5x in Air RB and 1x in Air Simulator, both are good but developers from BOTH games have said most modern things are either from publicly available information or simply estimations.
Mig-29 > F-22
Great joke.
Stop drinking the kool-aid
do you know the difference between purchasing and stealing?
