Is the Su-39 like Russia's very own A-10?

So it seems to me that the Su-39 almost plays the same way the A-10, just in my experience though. Any thoughts?

No, the Su-25 is the direct counterpart to the A-10. The Su-39 is export renamed variation of the Su-25TM.
