Is the F18E 120's proxy fuses bugged? Or is it just me?

For some reason, and here’s the replay to sum both things up. I shot at an enemy mig29 (not multipathing btw) from a top down frontal aspect, and my missile COMPLETELY hit way before someone else’s did. Next, when i had an enemy (rather close in my defense) shoot a Fox-3 at me. My missile exploded yet did no damage! heres the replay:

explanation?

There was a bug that proxy fuses didn’t properly trigger, but that should be fixed.

I don’t know, MiG-29 you mean, but most were either flying pretty defensive, or were in positions where a missile track might be easily lost.
Related to MCM launches, if my understanding is correct: proxy fuses do not trigger on non-aircraft contacts anymore. So, the only way to take a missile down, with a missile of one’s own, is to have it score a direct hit; without that, it’ll just fly past. AIM-120D isn’t the most manœuvrable missile out there; it might’ve just been that it couldn’t pull in time.
