su30sm2 we have ingame is a future aircraft lol
If the EFT loses an engagement like that against the F-15E that is almost always the result of a mistake or even straight up skill issue by the EFT.
AIM-120C are good only when you restrict your playstyle as a long range BVR shooter, in F15E it means that shooting all your missiles at the initial BVR exchange. IMO it’s the only whay F15E could be played now.
As for F15C GE, I run full 120C, only engaging BVR by the SA of AESA. It could be done if you are smart and with a little luck, and KD is decent. Later game I would run 8 120C + 2 120A + 2 9M, but that’s another type of strategy.
And russian bias isnt real they say
Issue there is that eve try other plane at its BR outdoes it, the SM2 outdoes the streagle in radar, missile quantity and quality, turn rate, and even thrust. Theres just nothing going for it at all unless they eventually add rank 9 and put the SM2 with stuff like the F-22 and SU-57, which gaijin would never do
no it dosent
the su30sm2 has worse turn rate than the su27 due to its weight
Are… are you trying to argue the F15E has a better turn rate than the SU30SM2? The plane with a much better eing layout, more thrust, thrust vectoring, and canards from the modern sge of jets vs… a brick from the 80s?
iam not arguing it, it is a fact, the Su-30SM2 is over 3 tons heavier than the F-15E
non of those increase STR
when do you think the canarded flankers were designed?
idk if statshark models thrust vectoring though
TVC dosent help with STR
it also will not change your lift boundry
if anything with the current modeling of TVC it is harder to achive that STR than without it
it changes ITR though, which is not shown by statshark
because statshark only shows lift boundary
it doesnt change the stable AoA
it only makes it easier to push past the stable AoA, or lift boundry
and once you exceed that lift boundry your wings will still stall even with TVC
ok? warthunder doesnt model stall behavior well though
so SU30SM2 in game effectively has a much better ITR than F15
and how will you win a dogfight with relying on ITR?
you will pull hard once, lose all your speed and hover wherever you are
in that case the f-15 can just go vertical to cash in energy while the Su-30 is doing whatever it is doing at low speed
R-73? and putting more distance just gets you outside the R-77-1 min range
this whole argument is about the turn performance
missiles have no part in this disscussion
ITR is very important for pulling to notch a missile
and the F-15E has better ITR at lower speeds and only slightly worse at speeds above 800kph
they are almost always going to be a factor.
