The current trees and shrubs reach heights of nearly 25 to 30 m at the tallest, while the shortest are around 6 to 10 m Is this somewhat extraordinary? Such trees are extremely rare even in undeveloped areas or primeval forests.
This is for sake of performance I am confident.
Same deal in other flight sims (I recall reading such on il2 great battles forums).
Creating the proper look of forests with realistic volumes and heights would require far too many trees and complexity so they make them bigger.
Which in turn destroys gameplay
