I’ve looked at your service record. The Koln (premie) seems to be your favorite closely followed by the SMS Bayern if just going from number of battles. For coastal, it would look like the VS-8 (premie) is your go-to with almost 10x the number of battles to the S-38 (reserve) with five battles.
My suggestion would be to make a line-up of matching BR vessels. Don’t just play a premie, get shot and then one kill quit. I’m not saying that this is what you are doing, but it does look like it. Otherwise, your other coastal vessels would also have a high number of battles.
From just looking at your Service Record, I have to ask, how many G.L. did you spend to purchase all those boats to unlock the path to the Scharnhorst?
I played realistic if you are just looking at arcade, spaded most of the german ships on the way to graf spee. Ive only touched arcade recently like past 2 weeks.
Never used GE to research, for coastal ya i pretty much gave up after a day or 2 playing at BR when I saw the returns, and this was when bots didnt give hardly any sl/rp and que times where horrendous. Im sure its better after the bot reward changes but still makes me sad thinking about it.
And yes I will admit I don’t have the biggest interest in river barges and lower tier coastal, and im not of fan of how compressed it is at the BR the ships in coastal I want so I probably not the biggest fan of playing them at 4.0 and fighting destoyers/frigates, and its just something I want to have the option to play in my blue water lineups when caps need to be contested at higher BRs. But helis where the same thing for me in GRB, I thought they were cool, I wanted them, but I was not going to grind heli PvE and the RP rates for actually playing them as intended was and still is awful. It wasn’t until we could grind them with ground vics did I actually grind all the helis for germany and most of them for russia. The grind does gatekeep people out of these vehicles if its too bad.
And heres my german TT for bluewater, I did spade the majority of ships, I wasn’t just playing premiums or talismaned one, I do enjoy naval, blue water specifically. I just wish the grind for coastal wasn’t so bad and keeping me from playing it. I haven’t actually even bought any expensive premiums for naval at all, just talismans. I was thinking of buying the eugen, but I thought the graf spee was way cooler with the big guns.
I mean hes half right I barely touched coastal before giving up, and just checking to see if people play something isn’t really stat shaming technically.
My best advice, tioli, is to make a line-up of equal B.R. vessels. Do that until you unlock three of the next BR. No need to spade them if all you want are the bigger, faster, hard hitting ones.
The S Boats are vicious at their BR. But once you hit tier III you can toss the VS-8 back into your line-up again at 2.7. Take a look at my S.R. and you will have a good chuckle.
I won’t lie; my main money maker is the M-802. I’ve made over 10 million SL and over 760k RP with it in just over half a thousand battles. The biggest take-away from all of this is that I hope you have fun and not look at it as a grind. That’ll suck the fun right out of it faster than a donut at a cop convention.
Ya ill probably buy the m802 when its 50% off, I’d put a talisman on the bussard but I don’t have the ranks for it to be effective yet.
I mean people make mistakes, I say dumb crap on here all the time I wish I didn’t, assuming someone only plays arcade naval is probably whatever in terms of most things.
What you call stat shaming; I call checking the facts before opening my mouth and embarrassing myself. Which is exactly what you did. I did look at all of his stats, not just arcade. You really shouldn’t just assume things my friend.
And shaming somebody? Calling out that I’m a C.H.? Isn’t that a case of the pot calling the kettle black? I didn’t come here to argue. How about adding something constructive to the conversation shipmate?
Once again… You’re assuming things. I never called anybody a Wallet Warrior. I’ve spent so much on this game that I am no longer a Whale, I’m a freekin Kraken! And… I already posted that the M-802 is my biggest money maker. Try to read to comprehend, eh?
Read up the thread, you’ll see plenty “constructive” from me.
Your words speak for themselves, whether I point out your attempt to mock another player for buying their way into top tier (“how much did you pay for that Scharnhorst”) or not. Discouraging people from giving their money to Gaijin by mocking them seems an odd choice for a blue name (a title you choose to display) ,but hey, it’s a free forum, you do you, “shipmate.”
I never mocked anybody. I even refer to myself as a “Kraken”. Just because you interpret it that way does not mean that was the intention. And please don’t just type something and toss quotes around it.
I am in no way, “Discouraging people from giving their money to Gaijin”. I’ve spent more than I’d like to admit tbh. Somebody hurt you and you’re taking it out on me. Stop projecting please.
I hope to see you all out there. Till then, may you have following winds and safe seas. o7
Why does it have to be like this? Can’t it be fun to play and offer good rewards? After all, the rewards are part of Gaijin’s game design to motivate players to keep playing (and therefore, keep paying). If the rewards are so bad that people don’t want to play, then the free-to-play loop isn’t working as intended. You’re just losing what could be another revenue stream.
Also, why is it that for air and ground, if people express dissatisfaction with the game mode, the general community response is one of at least commiseration; but in Naval, we have gatekeepers crawling out of the woodwork to check everyone’s stats and say “well you’re just not good lol” as if that invalidates peoples’ arguments?
There’s truly no hope for Naval if everyone is going to just mock and belittle each other instead of working together constructively on solutions.
And now you show two screens from NAB and NRB with the similar high results and time and prove that you right. And not forget that arrow research gain in NAB +30% on total RP and NRB only +10%, besides that in the NAB is much easier to gain high result cause of number of players and matches with increased speed and visibility.
