So i just realised that the A-10 warthog is 10.7 BR and would like to know if that is a valid change. Cause everyone knows that the Su25-k is stupid broken just like the 10.0 russian lineup in general so how is it fair that a plane that is better in basically every aspect it needs to be good at (airframe, Missels and speed) is .7 br lower. And the A-10 doesnt get more variantes there is the C-Variante for example which has two pods, these being the litening pod or the Sniper XR pod that gives gen 2 or 3 thermals with zoom and better atgms i belive. Not to forget that the Su-25 doest face the again stupid broken russian AA I would like to hear your thoughts. But from my pov its just russian bias at its finest once more.

No because if it goes down it will cause problems in ARB as it would face 9.3 or 9.0 aircraft with no defense against its 9Ls. It can’t go down for GFRB until air and ground brs are separated.
Air and ground were separated some days ago mate.
Anyway a10 has 2 issues :
1- mavericks are useless
2- strela is brainless op

They’re getting a huge buff, but i doubt it would come to the live server it’s too good of a buff to come to the US.

I doubt it too, since mavericks used to work good before, there was no need to nerf or bug them. But this is happening to all atgm (vikrs, pars, hot) so I have a little hope for a fix

US needs something close to the capabilities of the SU25SM3, fixing the Mavs would get it done, but yeah all atgms are so bad atm.

The game isnt US vs USSR anymore and not every nation gets equivalent armament.
Where’s the F14’s equivalent? Or the F16’s equivalent in number of armament?
I get that something close in its capabilities is needed but for EVERYONE, and spaa with the same if not greater range should come out with them.
We dont need more planes firing from 2x Spaa’s optimal range

I feel like the argument could be made for the Su-25s to come up instead of for the A-10s to go down. The A-10s are impressive, very capable machines in ARB, and left alone they will absolutely destroy anything they see. If they go down, they go back to dominating and destroying everything they see. Their is a reason so many vehicles needed to be downtiered.

Then why the F16C got nerfed moments after it started clutching up in top tier, and the SU25SM3 still getting 6 kills easily +12km away?
The game isn’t US vs USSR, everyone should get equivalent armament.
Gaijin made a big mistake by adding it, i’ve saved countless of my teammates by simply spawning in the F16C and my purpose is to hunt the SU25SM3 the moment it spawn in.

What are you trying to say here? those two events are mutually exclusive and don’t influence each other in any way.
The F16 didnt get (allegedly) nerfed because of the USSR, and the SU25SM3 doesn’t get kills because the F16 was nerfed.
What about the MIG29 nerf that made the F16 vastly superior ? we dont talk about that when it comes to nerfs do we. It went from being toe - to -toe with the F16 to being swept under the rug.
Its still a good plane but not as good as it used to be.

I agree fully with you here, it was a mistake adding it without any ground counter in terms of range.
Good on you for being a good teammate, i need people like you on my side. without the rest of the US team for obvious reasons.
But USSR cas wasnt that impressive before this and now they can wreck all the carnage they’ve missed

The A-10 is honestly better than the Su-25.
AIM-9L is a far stronger missile than the R-60MKs the SU-25 gets.
And Mavericks are bonkers good, you can chuck them at enemies from way outside of SPAA range and pick up easy kills. The only downside is they are harder to use than the rockets the Su-25 gets.
Yes the SU-25 should go up, but Its not that the A-10 should go down imo.

The A-10 was moved up for the health of the vehicles it faced below it. It will be fine for 10.7. I also believe the SU-25K is also going up abother BR step for the same reason and it needs too as well.
It should have honestly gone up in both modes

Coming from someone with a couple hundred kills in the Strela, if an A-10 player uses their brain for even a millisecond they can easily counter the Strela by flaring + maneuvering. Literally just don’t fly within lock range, and if you do use terrain cover since most maps have at least some.
