The hull has mounts for dynamic protection. It is not there only because it was not the purpose of the tank modification and testing.
But according to snail standards, even if a certain piece of equipment was not installed on some vehicle, but there was a POSSIBILITY of installing it, then nothing prevents you from adding it.
I will not list the aircraft on which missiles appeared just because they could be installed.
As there is no technical limitation preventing the aircraft from mounting the gunpod, this is considered within the standards for the game. As long as it remains technically possible to mount, it can be considered.
The strv 122 uses german composite matieral for the add on as well. It is a mistake by gajin that they are modelling it wrong for whatever reason. The 2A7V is way newer and if anything should have the better armor add on plates since it developed out of the strv122 one.
The designation refers to the revised hull array introduced in 1985, we don’t have a T-80BV in War Thunder, merely a T-80B with Kontakt-1 which is a seperate vehicle.
there is, gajin just doesnt wanna acknowledge it since leos are already dominating,
Bigger proof is simply that sweden literaly ordered german versions of the 2a8 as well.
Either way gajin gonna need to fix it somehow once 2a8s get implemented
Germany had identical add-on armor to 122s on “their Leopard 2s” 20 years ago (surely a variant that’s been produced by EODH is going to be worse just cus, surely), and, once again, because you are the type who would rather be served information than spend 10 minutes looking for it yourself (you didn’t even bother to read thru the bug report where I had explained all of this already), 2A7Vs current armor values are equal to Leopard 2 IVTs… but you probably have no idea what the IVT was anyways.
