I assume you’re asking me why it doesn’t have Kontakt-5 as a modification?
Because the real life vehicle doesn’t have it either:
The hull has mounts for dynamic protection. It is not there only because it was not the purpose of the tank modification and testing.
But according to snail standards, even if a certain piece of equipment was not installed on some vehicle, but there was a POSSIBILITY of installing it, then nothing prevents you from adding it.
I will not list the aircraft on which missiles appeared just because they could be installed.

As there is no technical limitation preventing the aircraft from mounting the gunpod, this is considered within the standards for the game. As long as it remains technically possible to mount, it can be considered.

and there is where you are wrong
The strv 122 uses german composite matieral for the add on as well. It is a mistake by gajin that they are modelling it wrong for whatever reason. The 2A7V is way newer and if anything should have the better armor add on plates since it developed out of the strv122 one.
that has nothing to do with german main moment.

In-game it uses the T-80BV hull already:
The designation refers to the revised hull array introduced in 1985, we don’t have a T-80BV in War Thunder, merely a T-80B with Kontakt-1 which is a seperate vehicle.
Because just because they look similar doesn’t mean they’re identical.
2a7v ones should be better if anything

Bigger proof is simply that sweden literaly ordered german versions of the 2a8 as well.

It takes 2 seconds to look this up (but gee some people would rather have things placed before them on a silver platter right).
The report has been accepted by the devs a whole year ago, they’re not acting on this because 2A7V is already performing well.
