I feel like the Nevada era for naval was better then what it is tdy. Considering that many naval players played naval at that time for realistic naval experience. Unlike today and the direction gaijin is taking. And is it just me or older ship armour system and torpedo defence system more realistic and better modelled then tdy for Yamato and Iowa. I literally died from one torpedo in the Iowa and it was not due to magazine detonation, it was simply cause almost all my hull sections was blacked out. And back then battleship duels even against a destroyer is more to skills then what it is tdy. And tdy war thunder X-ray it’s hard to tell which part of Ur armour system was defeated, that led to an enemy shell penetrating Ur armour. But back then in battles ship x-ray shows not just Ur ships modules, but also Ur armour system and torpedo defence system, allowing players to know which part of their armour defeated. And how it happened in the first place allowing players to learn about their ships weak spots in their armour system, allowing players to better adjust and reposition their ship in battles. And also it allow players to learn about what type of shells and torpedoes from enemy ships their armour system could withstand, and also the once that could defeat their armour system.

Eh, it might’ve been a bit more balanced due to some Certain ships not being in the game yet, Along with the old aiming system for arcade. Though tbh, navals slug fest for a game mode isn’t made for the top boats we have now.

Agreed but I feel that ships during that era, seem to have every one of their armour system and torpedo defence system modelled properly unlike tdys naval war thunder. Back then idk if U new but Arizona had simple stuff like sloped deck armour modelled, and America normally has a 5 layer torpedo defence system for all battleships, and Arizona had hers modelled. But USS Iowa has some of her torpedo bulkhead missing and her TDS tends to fail very often.
