Hi, I literally just bought and crewed the Object 122MT “MC” and I was wondering if it is worth playing. My highest BR vehicle that ive played before this is the ZSU-57-2, but I understand most of the gameplay concepts. Is it worth playing rn or should i grind out some China first…?

Oh no… I guess someone has to explain the truth to you about grinding the tech tree with a squadron vehicle.
I honestly don’t want to be the one to ruin your expectations or kill your hype :(
That said, yeah it’s still a good vehicle for 8.7 Fun to play and actually quite effective in the right hands.
One of the rarer vehicles that can “spit fire”
but grind Chinese top tier tanks uhmm, not good really their system bad haha.
No I am quite versed in how squad vehicles work(I have the M901 and Firecrest) I am just unsure of it’s potential by itself. I am not looking at it for RP but fun!

Ok, I think getting through rank 3 isn’t too hard. T-34 then M55 then Duster…then T-34-85(stop off to get T-34-85改 since I love the look of it)…etc
Squadron vehicles are a good way to get a feel for whether you like the nation’s vehicles at that BR. China does have a few T-55s at the 8.0-8.7 area, so the Obj 122 should be a decent gauge.
Playing squad and event vehicles without crew skills or a lineup does tend to suck though.
